...due to the "Pet went home because it's hungry" bug that sometimes happens at Skeles. Which is, of course, a big problem when the character with the poofing pet is a level 84 Priest. So what's a poor level 82 DK to do? Equip a pair of Dex & accuracy boots, put on an attack pot, and go for it, of course! (Having 212 accuracy with Bless helps!) Ruka's hit rate is better, obviously, although her damage is lower - if not by that much, when using the same attack pot (Petit Rose - +20 WA, +30 MA for 15 mins). And what, you might ask, am I doing grinding a pair of level 8x characters at Skeles? Well, Ruka's been there the whole time since level 70 and Chibs most of the time, with a few levels elsewhere on her own to catch up to Ruka's level again. Plus, it's a tradition I've been following since Deme EMS days when we didn't have the Hime map and Kazz the Nexon EMS forum moderator told us off for complaing that we didn't have Hime and how in her day she would grind at Grims etc. I can't remember who suggested Skeles, probably Kazz, but I thought "sod it" and gave it a go on my Demethos EMS TsuzukiRuka. It worked well, so... a tradition was born! tl;dr - Kat is Kat and thinks the Maple equivalent of running up the "down" escalator is better than slogging it out at the Ghost Shit Ship and more fun and challenging than accepting leech from a 4th jobber. =)
