What was the first job you picked when you first started playing maple story?

Personally mine was warrior, back in GMS circa 2006. I cant remember why I picked it though, or what made me want to play it.

My first job ever was I/L Wizard. I only got to level 34 before realizing it sucked. Mostly because I wanted it to be strong and hit all monsters so I added 18 STR and 14 DEX to it!

After that, until now, my main is always DrK <3

 

Thief because when I asked everyone for their opinion, that was the most popular lol.
Seeing the poll I'm not too far off..

 

Fighter, only because there was no such thing as a Pirate when I joined Maplestory

 

I started in early 2008 with an Ice and Lightning Magician.
I was fed up with hitting so many "Miss" 's so i bought all dex equipment and started adding dex into the AP.

 

I'm going to disclude the level 10 warrior I made (that I somehow didn't screw up at all) and say that my first was a Thief. Got to 27, quit in favor of a Cleric that I got to 48, and then went back to the Thief, becoming a Bandit. Got to 63, didn't manage to get a Dark Mate/Asura Dagger during their initial introduction and ragequit. Made my Hero after that and never looked back.

 

I made an Assassin got it to level 43 back in 2008 I believe, but then it really wasn't what i wanted so i made a new character which was Bishop i managed to get it to level 200 and left on family vacation, came back and everything i had on it was gone so i went and reported to staff came back and my characters were deleted. I quit Maple for a year came back for BB

 

My first ever job was I/L wizard...it was like back in 2006 i guess?i barely spoke any english so on lvl 30 i had no magic guard cause i just had no idea what is it doing I also had 25 str so i was able to wear this awesome mace which is for some reason for warriors and magican i made it to lvl 44 and then remade char because alishar was oneshoting me

 

I made an Assassin, and pumped a good amount of points into STR. I thought it would make me stronger.

 

I don't remember what my first character was. I made it at a friend's house during beta. I'm going to guess warrior tho.

When I started playing GMS I made a bowman. Got him to ~level 25. Did it all properly because I'd looked up a guide before I started =p. After I hit 25, someone told me that sins are the same as bowmen only better (and as we didn't even have 3rd job at the time, that was true) so I switched.

After that I played a ton of sins and priests. Probably 20 of them total. Occasionally threw in a warrior that never made it past 4X. Did a whole lot of KPQ... in fact I would say that either KPQ or LPQ are the #1 activities I have spent the most time on in maple.

 

So it's my first time downloading such big sized game. I thought most of the game start with warrior first, so I made a Warrior character. Leveled it to a level 3X Spearman, and I saw other jobs that looked cool, so I deleted my Spearman and changed it into a Pirate and became Infighter.

I quitted for a long time because my Internet package changed into 3G Internet, so I stopped playing because I can't update. Not long after, when I have enough money, I choosen a better Internet package and redownload the Maple file. AND IT WENT INTO SHIT. ARAN EVEN ETC ALL OF THEM WERE OVERPOWERED. So I played for a month and quitted.

 

First character was a Hunter. Stuck with it the entire career of GMS. And it is still my favorite class by far.

 

My first class was a warrior back when GMS was in open beta. My two friends were mages and I wanted to be different, and then I became very critical of the mage because I thought it was an unfair class for some reason. Now mage is like all I play. I miss the days when it was just 4 jobs.

 

My first character, back in early 2006, was a Cleric.

We had to roll the dice for stats back then, and I had a crappy internet connection, so kept dc-ing while trying for 4 Str/4 Dex. Settled for 4 Str 5 Dex and had much fun playing my baby magelet.

I chose the magician class because I liked the idea of being able to attack both at range and close up and because they're pretty strong in first job. I decided to go Cleric because a friend's Cleric used Heal when we were partied in Evil Eyes and I was wowed by this cheap and simple survival skill. I didn't even know it could kill undeads until I realised Zombie Mushrooms were going fizz fizz fizz! =)

I got my baby to lvl 92 before quitting GMS permanently in 2007. I then joined EMS in 2009, and after making a Flame Wizard because I didn't know how to get off the Cygnus character creation screen, I then went on to create a lvl 11x Priest and not one but TWO bishops (one main and one HS mule to HS the other charas on my main's account)!

 

I was a thief that used a fork on a stick to kill stumps in perion (before they had a level and exp change).

Then I was a bowman for while before hitting the bishop bandwagon.

My first class was a bandit. I remember my brother's friend hacked me at like lvl 36

 

I only knew how to make warriors...

 

My first job was an archer because I didn't know you could leave henesys. I was stuck at hene with six man pig parties at the right of henesys. I managed to Job advance at level 15 (due to the lack of DEX).
I later joined the sin and then dark knight bandwagon. Before settling on a Bowmaster in Demethos for 1-2 years getting it to 16x.
