Hi everyone, how's it going? It's me again. I hope you're okay with another thread. I know, I know. I've already created so many by now, but still. I have another thing I'd like to talk to you about. I hope you're okay with that. If you're angry, please let me know. I really don't want to make anyone angry from the threads. Well, you see... there's one thing that you might like the most in this game. Obviously, it's not just about leveling up, but there are also the aspects of socializing, making friends, doing a PQ, doing quests, or just normal grinding. What activity do you enjoy the most, basically? Or, the activity that matters to you the most. For me, it's probably PQing, because that's always fun, a lot more fun than grinding alone or doing quests. Although, I would say the second most enjoyable thing for me, after PQ's, is quests. The least enjoyable is probably grinding, since that's just repetitive, especially alone. If I'm grinding, a party is much more enjoyable than going for it alone, to be honest. But that's me, yeah. There are also many lone wolves who would probably say PQ's are boring and prefer doing all the progress alone, though. These players are probably not even joining a guild or adding friends to buddy list. In other words, quite anti social. I've met a few players like that to be honest. We're all different, I guess.
KSing/KS wars were my personal favorite. Whether it be back in the day at Gobies, Himes or even Skeles. The big KS wars that went on for countless hours were an absolute blast. Even when we would bring rush mules to Anego to KS it was a ton of fun, but still not on the level of those full map 20+ person multi-guild KS wars at training maps. Followed closely by the first boss runs where full parties/a full expedition were needed to beat it and there would actually be planning and strategy involved. Everyone in Vent the entire time, yelling, laughing and bantering with one another. So so so much fun. Back when the loot order was for the first helms/books/pendants on the server and such. The sense of accomplishment from these runs was unparalleled. Finally, merchanting. When I was younger I had trouble understanding the market, but nowadays it’s without a doubt my favorite activity on MapleStory.
i enjoy not seeing the same OP over and over again Jokes aside, i like watching hentai ANIME with my guildmates, Fleur <3
Damn, this reminds me. Haven't watched Anime for a long time! That's pretty cool. I do a similar thing, but not animes, just tv series.
Bossing. Socialising. AFK. I like socialising with my friends in boss runs and watch them AFK. @eden im looking at you
Well, you see... the problem with that is being angry can also be outside of something related to Maple. This is only about in game related activities. Also, regarding being angry about the threads, I think I can understand that, but, as far as I know there's no problem with the threads so far. If there was a problem, I would get a PM from a GM or an Admin telling me to stop with the threads, or something. And I didnt get any PM like that. So it's okay to start as many threads as I want, as long as it's not violating any rules. Whether it's pissing some people off because they see so much of me on the forums, that's not something I would worry about. The best thing I'd suggest for these kind of people, is simply, don't reply to my threads. But, if you look on the bright side, the threads I create bring more activity and discussions to the forums, so it might be a good thing.
Yeah, me too. But to be honest, the main reason why I made many threads and posts is because I have a lot of free time recently. In the coming days/weeks, my activity on the forums will be significantly reduced, but I will still be around. Also, a lot of times there was a problem I had where I focused on the forums too much, that it caused me to forget to login and simply play the game itself, haha.
I really miss waking up in the wee morning to see what I sold in my hired merchant before I left for school
I remember that feeling. I used to have a regular store, not the hired ones because I didn't have enough NX for it. I put up a few items and was surprise how everything was sold fast, I was like "wow, cant wait after I get back home". I had a very short time in the morning, like 30 minutes, just to check the store. I remember arguing with parents over leaving the PC on or not because shutting pc down means I lose my regular store's spot. Eh, funny days.
