I assume you mean like when starting out or whatever, because I think honestly that making an I/L Mage + HS mule & selling leech is a very effective & easy way to make mesos. That would mean making two extra characters & leaving the priest at level 81 so that you have max HS & level 1 door. Just from my time playing & having made a bishop to level 200 & my I/L being level 180 right now, the difference between obtaining blizzard 30 as opposed to genesis 30 for a new player is actually insane. Pretty sure as of right now the total cost of blizzard 20 + 30 is about ~70m if not less. & the total cost of genesis 20 + 30 is about ~1.6b+ On top of all of this, I think that I/L gets better "end game" maps to sell leech / train on. ulu2 feels really nice if you're a lucky person & makes mesos really quickly, so does petris as well since you can sell split leech for 40m/hour from each. I know that there are things like APQ, Bossing like horntail, zakum, anego, bodyguard, getting lucky with scrolling, & straight up merchanting. But I feel like selling leech is too constistent to look over.
Just to add on, farming zombie tooth while training is also a good alternative while training up your character. There are multiple more ways to earn some good cash. You may sell ap resets as well as telerocks. Just make sure to pick up all scrolls and equipments as they do add up in the long run.
