Same as opening poster. Back in live maple, I used to almost exclusively afk at ellin forest. BGM is just very wonderful and relaxing there.
Lith Harbor all day every day. Music and scenery. I always base my love for maple towns on how much I'd like to see them in person. Ellen Forest is so cozy so I love that one too.
I really love Ellin forest too. Probably the best map in the games to be honest. And I liked Rien a lot, actually. It was very pretty for an ice/snowy land, that El Nath could've been.
Unfortunately I don't really have a fave town. I was just thinking it would be a tie between a few but then I couldn't think of which ones XD. As far as the BGM is concerned, my fave place is the clock tower, where the tics and chronos are. It's like a variation of orbis tower that I will always love. Along side the fact that my first main was a cleric that started on the main server in Khaini when it was first created. The place where terrain was the most enjoyable, whether for travel or farming or questing, would probably have to be El Nath. I loved the sliding and used it to great advantage with archers and assassins. Didn't even bother with snowshoes till waaay later. Aquarium is a runner up. And finally, the place that I have the fondest of memories with past friends and guild mates would have to be the boat ride between Orbis and Ellinia. Finding out how to go down the ladder without exiting, watching noobs go outside instead where the balrogs are and soil themselves trying to get back in. Dropping items and picking them up, playing keep away with the lower leveled. If I just have to pick one town I spent the most time in, aside from Henesys XD, it would be kerning city. Finding a track for kpq brings back hundreds of memories.
I always liked Leafre, but Henesys will always have a special place in my heart. But if we are judging from BGM Kerning City is dope.
Really hard for me to pick a favorite... Lith Harbor and Ellinia definitely brings me back to the first experience of maplestory I also like Elin Forest, and Mu Lung with its beautiful bgm
