Hello! I was wondering if Mac-users can download this game any time soon? Im with a group of friends that played Royals before new source. Some of us have Mac, one of them even donated. I was wondering if there is a plan to make it possible for Mac-users to play any time soon?
When new source was announced, the admins mentioned that new source was NOT compatible with MAC OS. This was one of the downside's of upgrading to new source. I don't know if this has changed, but as it stands, it is still not compatible with MAC OS. However, there is a solution for this, you can download a program called "Parallels" on the MAC which will allow you to run windows OS on your mac. Much like VMWare for Windows OS's, you can download MapleRoyals and run it on there. I personally don't own a MAC, so I can't tell you how to run it, but I know some people who do run it if you have trouble downloading and running the program.
For parallels, do they offer a free version? Kind of crazy to have to spend so much on it just so I can play again... and with bootcamp we still need to purchase Windows. Is there a free virtual machine for mac?
