The game is starting to bore me lately and I want to make a new character (current character is a lvl 150 bowmaster). I want a class which isn't too expensive and isn't reliant on washing (so no ranged/dk) Another thing is that I want to train efficiently from around 100 and not rely on leeching too much as my cleric is lvl 60 and might take a while to level (and the class seems to bore me a lot) I wanted to make a fp mage but I find grinding at high lvls alone (or leeching others who are afk) extremely boring, and I don't know if I'll be able to play it a lot without getting bored (though I like the tot maps but not skele/petri). I/L seems to have some really nice looking skills (I like how lightning looks) and a better 2nd job but spamming ice strike at 3rd job seems boring. Other than that buccs/paladins look pretty unique and interesting but are kinda weak while heros are good all around but less unique/interesting. I won't make a shadower cause I'm slow at dropping mesos.
Make the f/p mage. You don't have to leech anyone if you don't want to (I don't) and you don't have to grind alone. I grind at petri's with people all the time - all you need to do is decide which area is theirs, and you poison the rest. There's no fundamental difference to grinding once you hit 4th job than the I/L (given meteor/blizzard).
Make one that you want to play! Also, many times you can probably find a priest that is willing to stick around and chat while you are at petris ^^ I did that a lot of with my friends, or randoms too. Leeching myself got boring so I would randomly add someone and give split leech and chat away haha. Or I would tell my friends to come to me and then forced them to accept my leech/split leech so that I could make them stay to chat huehuehue @yappy111
Shadower. - The class is a bit difficult to play, have to train hard. - Do not need washing, thanks to meso guard. - Easily Upa in boss as BF at any level. - Zakum is one of the best classes to kill him quickly. - Does not depend on leech. - It's a middle class guy in that use Mesos to give damage.
