Add a ~whois <playername> command to get basic information about a player. Example:

    ~whois Sylafia
Sylafia: Level 169 Bishop. Guild - FlatEarth

Nice to be able to quickly check things so you know what classes people are when recruiting for bossing runs. Since usually people ask class/lv anyways, I don't think this would make things too much more elitist, just save some time on the back and forth.

let's go all the way and also add "/range [name]" to make things even more interesting.

I like it, though it'd be cool if it was just character sided, since what comes to mind is that the map could be spammed with blue text if many did it at once.

Upon thinking about this more, if it's possible have the command just show the character info pane (from double clicking) to the person who used it. Then it'd be easy to use during a boss run so I can double check everyone has pet loot off. And hide the line from everyone else, to prevent spamming.

We do like the idea of being able to open the character information window with a command, but the problem is that this data is only available for characters nearby. The text base solution would work, however upon further discussion we decided to rather spend that development time on a website ranking when the time comes. Nevertheless thanks for your feedback!
