So i bought a zrun cause im struggling to get acc and if i get the helm i'm good for awhile. 1st Zrun attempt My graphics were up all the way, and zac started disapearing then reapearing. Is that supposed to happen? Regardless to say afterwards my inventory was full and when i popped open my inventory it didn't show up so i didn't get to pick up a zhelm cause i couldn't drop an equip. 2nd Zrun attempt i get to the 3rd body and i'm told to turn down my graphics and i dc on the 3rd body. I wasn't sure if it was my internet or ingame problems because the music still plays on my comp from online. 3rd zrun attempt i was told to turn down the graphics at the end of the arms once, then down one more after 1st body, and then again 2nd body. I did so and Dc'd again just from the game. Is Zak broke or am i doing it wrong? Cause i don't have ghetto internet, and i have a nice desktop..
It says unable to connect to server. Is it maybe the ch i'm doing it on? i doubt it has anything to do with the graphics of the game unless you really do dc from zak if your graphics are up all the way. Sometimes also i'll dc in FM ch 1. But when i go grind say himes or gs2 i don't dc for hours.
Personally my brother had problems with zakum on Windows 7/Vista. At bodys its gonna crash the client but i have not heard about windows XP getting these crashes. Not 100% positive but the error might be caused because of windows type.
This has happened to me before, but I never disconnected from it. It usually only happens if my computer has been on for like...24+ hours without a restart, though. I would post this in the support section of the forum, too, if I were you.
We'll i'm hoping to do another zrun tonight with allstars. I'm gonna try leaving my settings on high and see if i dc or not, cause the first time i didn't and my settings were all the way up. and lowering them i just dc even after doing what others said.
Alright so this time you guys ready for this.. 4th z run. Left my graphics all the way and when zak died, i dc/d. 5th z Run. Ppl told me to lower settings from highest to lowest after the arms are dead. So on 1st body, My maplestory was windowed, and i wetn to change my settings we'll it makes it to the full screen with low settings and apparently my thousand dollar computer can't handle maple going from small to big with low settings. And i Dc/d again. So i'm assuming in order to have a 100% chance of getting a helm. You must have your maple not windowed, and then when the arms go down lower the settings and it shouldn't dc you but i havn't tried i'll update the 6th zrun and let you guys know. Pretty rediculous.
I'm not sure why the client is behaving that way for you. I don't believe it normally goes out of windowed mode when you adjust the graphics... I still think there's some underlying compatibility issue with your graphics.
It goes to full screen mode when you adjust your graphics and press 'OK' if you have the ticked box in the bottom of System Options set to 'full screen'.
Ill try changing that. Or leave my screen full screen. Hopefully ill get another run tonight and well see what happens.
I zakked with my Graphics down the WHOLE time and was perfectly fine. Yes, start from fullscreen then lower to minimum.. Although when I lower in windowed mode, it stays in window mode... Doesn't go to full screeen
Got it finally on the 7th run , left my screen big, turned settings from the 2nd lowest going in to the lowest after arms were gone on first body and i didn't dc and got the helm .
