Why does the game carry a virus?

    Hey i want to play but dont want that Win32:Virtu-G virus that the file comes along with are there any other options? please help i want to play again but i got a new expensive computer and i dont want to mess it up

    I think Windows Defender classifies the modified MapleStory.exe as a virus, but you can safely install and play MapleRoyals. Its a "false positive".
