Why is my ip address blocked?

I tried using a VPN recently after years of not using a VPN and apparently it was a massive mistake.
I tried to log onto Royals with the VPN and I dced and I realized that you're not allowed to log into this game with a non-dedicated vpn.
I turned off my VPN and logged on just fine. Then one week later, I decided to log on and my game disconnects after double clicking a character at loading screen and entering the 6 digit number. I didn't have my VPN on so my ip address is just blocked I guess.

I don't understand. I get the "You have been disconnected from the login server. Please try again later."

I was literally able to log on without using my vpn like a week ago but now my actual external ip address is blocked?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I've tried downloading the setup again.

And no, I can't reset my external ip address because my isp doesn't let me. I don't fucking understand why failing to log in using a VPN gets my actual ip address banned.
