Heya everyone I have a question i decided to start a bowman. But i cant choose betweet marksman or bowmaster. I want to boss endgame ! I prefer bowmaster but i heard they d/c allot because of the fast attack while there are lagg spikes. Can anyone confirm this? I also want to hear your opinion with explenation. Thanks in advance
Oh I haven't yet had any disconnect issues with hurricane+lag spikes.. Soo I dunno. As for bossing, bowmaster is ofcourse a lot better since well, hurricane beats snipe+strafe any day. But (imo) you should pick the class you enjoy more to get most out of this game
I've been a bow master since june, and I've dc'd from fast attack once ever (last week, actually). Other people that I know get it more commonly. Seems to be more about your connection than anything else. Both marksman and bowmaster are able to boss because of SE, though with the same scrolling on their equips a bowmaster will do a bit more damage. The damage on either of them pales in comparison to corsairs and Night Lords anyway. If you like using strafe and think snipe is pretty neat go marksman, if you want to use hurricane go bowmaster. That's all.
I think most of the fast attack disconnects are on Zakum, I haven't seen them happen on Krexel (unless you allow krexel to attack), never seen it on pap either.
Bowmasters are a solid choice. End game weapon is easy to get, Overalls are cheap to scroll, DPS is among the highest in the game and BMs deal higher damage amongst the two. The fast attack ban shouldn't really be a determinative factor because of how uncommon it happens. That issue is usually rectified quickly thanks to attentive GMs.
