Hello there community and/or gm's, I am here to post an issue that you have probably already heard of, and it's called quests. As a veteran GMS mapler (who played since 2006), I joined this server with much expectation in regards of the old nostalgia feeling I would get and for the most part, I Can't say I don't enjoy it. But back in the good ol' days, I was a hardcore quester who enjoyed doing every single quest in the game, partly because I met shit tons of new people and partly because that's what the gaming experience meant to me (since I can't see how grinding for hours could be any fun, although I did it when I had no choice). Now the problem here, is that in MapleRoyals there a few too many quests that do not properly function, even some low level ones(?!). I played this server about two years ago, and now came back in hopes that the quest lines have been fixed yet no progress has been made whatsoever. I am very curious as to what does the community think about this issue and would highly request the game moderators to fix the questing issues, since they are a MAJOR factor in the experience of people who seek the nostalgia, which is what this server rightfully stands for. I believe I don't only speak for myself and that many people would agree that questing should be getting more priority on this server. Please, share your thoughts and let's alert the gm's. It has been said multiple times that they won't fix quests until the new source comes (which i believe is this month).
Some quests work, but you may have to spam the chat (clicking on the npc and pressing ENTER rapidly) in order for you to get the proper reward sometimes. For example, the florina beach ticket quest will require you to spam the npc until...
