My sister just got a new laptop and I am trying to run mapleroyals on it(so she can play) now every time I run the mapleroyals client I get error code : -2147024809(The parameter is incorrect.) I just copied my mapleroyals folder from windows 7 to her PC and it is not working If needed to I can redownload the v62 client and I also redownloaded the client off of the websidte.
Have you tried Running as administrator, and setting the compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 3? I also have Windows 8, and have it set to run as admin and under compatibility settings for Windows XP SP 3, yet I still sometimes have the same problem--you just have to keep trying to open it.
