I turn of the antivirus (avast) when i install the game and it works when i run it after that. The only problem is that i don't permenently keep my antivirus off for obvious reasons and every time it turns on it immediately says threat detected and removes the client from the folder. I've tried reporting it as an false alarm but avast does not seem to care :/ Help anyone? (side note, my computer runs windows 8 if that is for any help)
What you have to do is add MapleRoyals to your antivirus "Exceptions" this will stop your antivirus from thinking MapleRoyals is bad. If you need help finding out how to add it to exceptions, google how to add exceptions on your antivirus. p.s. pathing for Mapleroyals is my computer --> local disk --> program files (x86) --> MapleRoyals folder. Add the whole folder to your exceptions.
