    Hello
Today I installed the new version of the game(MapleRoyalsSetupImg-23.11.23.exe) and I was playing around 1:00pm (GMT -5) , I went to the cursed woods in NLC and hunted some Headless horseman

The deal is that Windows Defender popped up a window after a while playing because it detected a Troyan in the Mapleroyals.exe and .lnk

I did some research and ScarletFlash.A is related to miners and malware, it's weird this happened just today that I installed the game.

I know I can just mark this as safe on WD but, it's strange and it never happened before, iirc WD marked the installer as dangerous in the past but it got fixed, this is new to me and I've been here for a few years now.

Also Windows Defender removed the .exe so I have to reinstall but I'm not feeling sure about doing it anytime soon xd.

    Screenshot is in spanish btw:

Update: Tried to reinstall and it kept popping more messages, I'm shaking rn xD:

    Hi!

It sounds like a false positive.
Have you been experiencing any malicious/odd behaviour, whilst using your computer; since the Win-Defender pop-up-occurrence?

Hello Dennis, no, this is the first time in a long time that WD warns me about something, I try to install software mostly from trusted sources tho.
Gonna try redownloading it just in case, it's weird it triggered these messages since it never happened like this before, also WD used to detect the installer as malware years ago, also this PC is kinda new.
