Hi! I'm really looking forward to playing Royals, but I'm having some big difficulties getting it installed. The download is fine, but when I install it, my Windows Defender flags mapleroyals.exe as a virus, and won't let me continue installing it. I've tried making an exception for it (which doesn't work), and even turning my protection completely off (instantly deletes mapleroyals.exe after turning it on again). I'm sure there has to be a way for me to play this game without leaving myself permanently exposed to threats, but I'm at a loss right here!

I've had issues with other downloads/installs before, but it always worked to temporarily give them an exception.

    Thanks for the help!

Go into the settings and add the installation directory to the exclusions list.

Yeah I tried that already, and it still gives the same problem. Even adding mapleroyals.exe (installed after turning the entire defender off) to my exclusions doesn't work - it simply says it's a 100% virus and removes it immediately.
Thanks for thinking with me though!

That worked, thanks a lot! I tried giving the corrupt file itself an exclusion, not the entire folder. Looking forward to playing now! Thanks again :)
