I have a Windows 8 desktop and I can't even get to the login screen. I click on the file withing the mapleroyals folder, which has worked in the past, and the screen zooms in dramatically, turns back, and goes back to normal. No error or anything. I thought maybe some of the files are outdated, so I redownloaded mapleroyals and I get the same result. I don't believe it is my anti virus.
Still try disable your antivirus, if you have microsoft defender you need to uncheck the admin box. If you have microsoft security essentials remove it completely.
