The BGM is mismatched to that of Rien field in Amherst, not sure if that was intended for festive atmosphere or just a bug.

It's intended in celebration of our 4th anniversary. Sila edit: For further information, every major holiday we make a custom edit for the Free Market entrance as well as Amherst. This includes background music changes, as well as the visual change you saw. We will have one for Halloween and Christmas both, too.
