Hello there. I have a suggestion involving the yellow and green egg monsters that appear in low-level maps. I just joined MapleRoyals recently and is leveling my first character, but the problem is there are those egg monsters appear in every map I train in and with my level and stats, I couldn't kill them and they hit very hard for a mage like me. That makes it really hard to concentrate on leveling since one appears for every 4 or 5 monsters I kill.

Could you remove them from low level maps so that newbies or people leveling their newly created characters have ease in mind when training? I would be really appreciate!

Can you describe what exactly makes them hard to kill? Is it their avoidability, damage, and/or HP? We might be able to adjust their stats to make them better suited, otherwise we will need to apply some exceptions to maps manually.

My character currently is a level 17 mage. I missed most of the time I hit them with Energy Bolt and Magic Claw. If it hits, the damage is only around 1 - 10's (with a really low decrease of HP). When I take their damage, it's around 150's for the yellow one and ~50's for the green one. Maybe it's better to adjust their stats to be around stats of the surrounding monsters?

I believe its the avoidability they have. I noticed last night on my warrior that I was getting them stuck in my mob piles. I would miss them almost every swing and like the OP mentions I only do MAYBE 20 damage to them, but they were hitting me around enough that I couldn't properly grind without blowing tons of pots.

If I remember correctly, event monsters a few years back would copy the stats of the monsters in the map that they spawned in, is this still possible?

Came here to post like thread starter. The issue is when you are lvl 17 farming under lvl 10s....a lvl 35 green egg is kind of bs. As a new player this was VERY off putting for me. I have only now (at lvl 22) gotten to a point where the yellow eggs don't bother as much, green ones still hit like a truck though.

My suggestion before this gets out of hand (aka running us lowbies away) :
1).Lower the level/Attack value of eggs (especially green ones).
2). Do away with eggs in areas below their normal level. (20 for yellows, 30 for greens)
3). Sync the Eggs level to the mobs around them (making their stats match as well)

Hopefully this provides some additional feedback for the staff :)

    As of Update #54.1:
    • The chance for an Eggy Pop monster to spawn has been reduced.
    • Eggy Pop monsters will no longer spawn from monsters below level 30.
Hopefully this helps with the issue!
