Hello, So I think there is a way to have more stats than normal i.e. LUK washing or DEX washing. Let's say I'm washing a thief with 1000 extra MP..... If I put one fresh AP from level up into HP, then I am able to continuously use an APR to subtract from my mp and keep on putting it into luck. This would result in a thief with more damage than normal, would it not? with 1000 extra mp, you would have 1000/12 = 83 more AP than normal. I am aware of the 999 cap for a base stat... but if you hit the 999 cap in luck, you can just add into dex and have more dex than normal. It is basically generating more AP than you're allowed to have. The normal way for thieves would be to put a level-up AP into HP, and then subtract from MP into LUCK or main stat. But if you put a level-up AP into HP and keep it there, then you can keep subtracting from MP and put it into a stat of your choice, resulting in more damage. Am I missing something here??
You are missing the fact that not every Nexon developer had 2 digit IQs. When you put 1 AP into HP or MP stat instead of Str/Dex/Int/Luk, the system detects it as if you made a mistake. Ap reset was introduced so you can revert that mistake and HP washing is a loophole people discovered during this process. Once all the fresh APs you added to HP/MP (considered the same pool) are reverted back to main stats, HP/MP stats are locked down and an AP reset can no longer subtract any more ap from them.
Right but the question is if I keep 1 point in HP, then I can keep on using APR to subtract from my extra MP. So if I use 5 APRs then I can generate 5 points of AP to put into luck as long as I keep the 1 point in HP. Normally, these extra points would be put into HP. But the question is if I choose not to put it into HP and put it into LUK, then I would have more damage than normal?
No. If you have 1 AP in HP, then you can only use 1 AP Reset to do -MP -luk. But you can't "keep" the 1 AP in HP when you use the 1 AP Reset. The reason the AP Reset works is because HP and MP share the same AP pool. Have 1 AP in HP/MP? You'll have 0 AP in HP/MP when you use the AP Reset. You cannot generate AP out of thin air.
