Since this particular topic appeared out of the blue, why not talk about some YU-GI-OH?! It's time to du-du-du-dudududuuel! WTF IS YUGIOH?! Yu-Gi-Oh is a children's card game played by 'children' (totally not adults), and is one of the more popular ones alongside Magic-The-Gathering, Pokemon and Cardfight Vanguard. It is easy to learn, hard to master. The game revolves around Life Points: using Monsters, Spells and Traps to get your opponent's life points to zero. New? Here's how it goes: Yu-Gi-Oh the card game and Yu-Gi-Oh the show are totally different. The game is meant to be for children, but hey, game's complex as . How to play? Here are two tutorials: Feel free to alternate between the two, as either may provide better help than the other or may include certain details that the other may not. Here's the official one by Konami, and the other one fan-made. Konami's tutorial may be incredibly cringeworthy, so feel free to watch the fan-made one. The Fan-Made one is more indepth, and more humane-like but It is long, and spans multiple parts. Konami only goes through all the basic rules. To whom it may concern, this topic is meant for discussions of new archetypes, new gameplay (pendulums!!), card discussion, and particulary deck sharing (if you want to!) or really anything Yu-Gi-Oh alike. How the hell do I play this without cards? Fortunately, players have created ways to simulate these duels in an orderly fashion. In my opinion, I would recommend these ones: Browser-based dueling simulator: Dueling Network Client-based dueling simulator: YGOPRO (Yu-Gi-Oh Pro) They each simulate Yu-Gi-Oh duels but in a different manner. Dueling Network is manual, which means you have to do everything by yourself (drawing cards, effect chaining, etc.) by activating them by yourself. YGOPRO on the other hand, is automatically simulated, which means it will do everything for you. For example, when a game starts after the Rock-Paper-Scissors contest (the rolling the dice methods used in real life though) to decide who goes first or second, the simulator will automatically draw cards for you, so you do not have to click your deck to do so like so in Dueling Network. The purpose of this thread is to bring new players and veterans alike to simply have fun on Yu-Gi-Oh. I hope ya'll enjoy the game as much as I do. Last but not least, KUNAI WIT CHAIN!
