    Issue: Game crashes at Zakum

This is a rather new issue for me, over the past two years I have never encountered an issue with crashing at Zak.
    I have gfx'ed every time.
However today I crashed twice at zakum. The issue started ONCE at gfxing. I went to gfx and the game screen went black, hung for about 10 seconds, and closed out without warning.
The second time, I made it past the 8 arms, 1st body. Gfx'd on the second body and suddenly Zakum was disappearing, reappearing, and disappearing again, ALONG with the damage from the characters attacking. I went to check my inventory, it was no longer being displayed except for my meso totals, and when I closed the inventory, the SAME exact disconnection. There is no error notice, not even a remote glimpse of it closing. It just goes black like after you log into your account and before it drops you in a map, and then dropped me to my desktop.

After the crash Royals' s process did stay hung from what I can tell in my Task manager. I ended up killing the process tree.

As far as the generic fixes go:
Why all of the sudden would it be my graphics card unless a driver was changed?
My computer was on less than 6 hours, in fact I had rebooted it between runs... i have not had issues with Royals running after extended periods of uptime in the past, at one point my uptime was near two months, and had not caused an issue with bossruns.
It's a desktop (moreover a server), with my internet being a solid hardwired connection as well. I've zakked multiple times within the past month, even last week, and no issue had arise in both Sandbox and on Windows 7.
I have had the compatibility set to Windows 98.
I have used VMware before for Horntail runs. 9/10 I havent had an issue with it but most recently after gfxing the screen ended up going white and was unable to correct. This makes me suspect that it's not a visual/graphics card issue as a VM doesnt rely on the graphics card, same with Sandbox.

As far as reinstalling Royals, it's worth a shot but unless something changed in the .wz, .dll, etc. Files, I dont think this will fix anything.
Wondering if a Microsoft Update could have effected a .dll that is necessary for the visual/graphic content for Royals.

Seeing this is a problem on your end it's not possible for me to say what is causing it, I have no idea what you do with your computer.

What I do know is nvidia cards and windows 7 are a known problem.

Have removed, redownload, and freshly installed Royals again.
I have also rolled back my graphics driver to February 2015.

I plan to test these fixes tonight or tomorrow with guild Zakum runs. If these don't work, I'll try running in a WindowsXP VM.

Is there any info on issues with Bossing using Linux?

So as far as the Windows 7 side goes I've:

-Reset the GFX drivers down to February 2015's version
-Reboot the day of, and evening of the run (2 hours early)
    -Tried not GFXing
    -Tried GFXing

    Still same graphics error.
My list now includes trying the following:

-Running it in Sandboxie (seems to run fine when I dual client at Zak)
-Changing the display setting from 1920x1080 down to 1024x768
-Reverting the graphics driver to the generic Microsoft VGA Driver

Follow Up Windows 7 Resolutions Checklist:

Sandboxie was stable and did in fact allow me to complete the run (with gfxing).
I also had dropped resolution to 1280*1020.
I had removed Display Scaling on High DPI settings and running as administrator.
I moved the compatability from Windows 95 to Windows98/ME.

--Will be locked out until Saturday Morning.
I plan on trying to find the trigger for the DC/Crash Saturday using my alternate characters.

I've had the same problem and failed to get a helmet twice. I have a gtx 780m, which is nvidia, so perhaps it's an incompatibility issue with nvidia? Next time I'll try zakking through vmware and see if that helps at all.

Also this kind of disconnect (fade to a black screen suddenly, then d/c with no error message) only happens when I go to zak. I can play everything else that a low lvl bishop can play normally.

Today I've started having the same issue as earlier with the game (windowed mode) and then it's been giving me an error code now. Wondering if it's related to the same issue I had at Zakum.
