Hi everyone ! I've been playing MapleStory since forever and I started once again in this server recently. Now coming close to a necessity, I'm considering buying myself a Zakum Helmet and having done the first quest and collected 30 Gold tooth, I find myself having only the dreadful Jump Quest to do. This has been an issue for me before, each time I try this monstrosity I end up screaming at my keyboard and pulling my hairs out. So if there is someone who is familiar to this quest and how to do it well message me in private please. I know there are some hardcore players who can do it in a manner of minutes and I'm counting on you to help me on this one ! Thanks in advance ! Smell ya' Later.
This might help you a bit https://royals.ms/forum/threads/zakum-jump-quest.33977/ It's probably best to take it slow and analyse each jump. The pattern is regular and predictable and you only need to jump when it is safe to. The guide should help you see when the timing is right
Yup I was in the same boat as you man. I had never done it back in the past but now after doing it once, it's really a lot easier than you think. I followed this guide & just took my time it really is a mind over matter thing. This guide explains what to look for while doing the next step in jumping, does it in slow motion, then does it in real time after marking the rocks falling / green puffs shooting everywhere. This is for the 2nd map in the jumpquest. I actually think that the zakum prequests are fun now that I have gotten the hang of em, hope you do too
No, even if u have 140 speed and 123 jump, when u are on a jump quest map, your speed and jump is the regular one (100 speed 100 jump).
I think that even if you CAN use jump/speed items I would advise against it, some of the mechanics the guy uses are for your advantage & require no speed/jump.
