Don't see the harm in disabling it, since it takes non-maple islanders less than 15 minutes to get to 10. +1
The only prestige in being an islander is leveling far beyond what was originally intended on an all exclusive resort of no return. What makes a godly islander godly? - Well of course the level. - The vast quantity perhaps of orange mush caps you've collected - But the very most badass thing... THE DROPS DROPS DROPS!!! - EVERY monster you kill has the potential to drop an item you can use... - Get your hands on that 38 att leather purse off a slime or red snail! - Maybe you're lucky enough to grab a pair of gomu, and land a few 10% jump scrolls all dropped by orange mush! - GRAB YOURSELF SOME ICE JEANS OFF A SHROOM!!! YADA YADA. Oh, Gee, I recruited all my buddies! Look at the cool shit I have bum bum bum... Wait, you have a frozen tuna. Lovely. That sure is the islander way... But you don't have my level 15 surf board!!! But you do have your level 30 one... WHERE DO THESE ITEMS KEEP COMING FROM??? Oh. Derp. I see. I'm an idiot for choosing a server to drag all mi island buddies too with an "~storage" function. What killed islanding on GMS? Yeah... That MTS system. Sure, a select few still collected island drops. But they weren't awarded god status like the MTS hoars were :c Is this not the nostalgia server I seek?? MAKE IT SOOOOO ^_^
I will be joining this server within hours to main an islander... and I 100% agree with removing this system. At least for the maple island or something. Besides why would anyone need that? Dont be lazy lol! Doesnt take much to walk to a storage NPC. Mayeb you can implement it so you cant access it on maple island only
