Hello! In game name is: 9ice going to be a hermit/night lord I played GMS up until 2008-2009ish (was in High School), and even had a private v55 server going with some irl buddies, so this is very nostalgic for me. Old MapleStory was one of the few games where I had vivid memories of coming back from school and grinding for hours on end on multiple characters. I eventually formed relationships that I still keep to this day on Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat and there's still a lot of new stuff for me to learn just judging by the new content I'm unfamiliar with My name's Oscar, I live in San Diego and spent most of my life in Southern California, with one year in Chicago. I work in IT in the Medical Device Industry. I'm a HAPA and proud . I like cars and the adrenaline of going fast, gaming, and watching RomComs. Don't wanna make this a long post but see you all in game, please whisper/buddy so I can get caught up on lingo and vibe with ya'll heheh.
Hello! Welcome to Royals. Hope you enjoy your time here. It’s a lot of fun Do you know what HP washing is? I noticed you mentioned your first character is going to be a NL. You might want to reconsider!
Thank you, good to meet you! Ahh what is it in a nutshell? Did a quick google search. My first char was a hermit/nl lol, why should I reconsider ? I had an icemage as well. Thank you, good to meet you!
Check this post out: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/ It's really expensive to get NL's HP to the point where it can do the end-game bosses, so it's not recommended as a first character (plus it's complicated)!
Hey there, Oscar! Glad to have you with us, I hope you'll enjoy it here! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, or consult the forum; we've got tons of helpful and knowledgeable players
Hi! Welcome to the game I have to agree that starting off as a hermit/NL would be really difficult for reasons already stated. With that being said, you might want to consider making a warrior if you want to play an attacker as a first character. They require very little funding to get to where you need to be. Even so, I highly suggest starting off with a mage so that you may familiarise yourself with the game and its mechanics, and at the same time, to slowly gain funds for your attacker. Do feel free to reach out to the community for any help or guidance. We're all a friendly bunch and are willing to help out whenever.
