Someone asked in the shoutbox if there was a place they could check all the class balances and changes since they're new to the server. I thought that was a great idea and wondered why it didn't exist yet. Class changes/balances: When the new source came out, the skills were adjusted to use the v72 skill table: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/patch-notes-05-01-2017.87186/ After that, these changes happened: Spoiler Pirates: In update #13: Corsairs battleship damage taken was reduced by a factor of 10 In update #48: Bucc's Barrage and Dragon Strike skills had their skill delays lowered In update #50 Spoiler Maurader - Energy Charge: Energy will now be gained for each hit to a monster, instead of being capped to once per monster and attack. Energy Charge will now properly show the charging animation in first and third person. Buccaneer - Speed Infusion: Range increased from 500x300px to 600x400px. Corsair - Rapid Fire: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 170% at max level to scaling up to 200% at max level. [*]In update #60: Transform and Super Transform now have a cooldown of 60 seconds (previously 1 second) [*]In update #65: Snatch range was adjusted to match animation [*]In #66.2: While transformed, haste will buff buccs, and when haste gets debuffed, buccs will go back to the transformation speed [*]In #71: Corsairs mounting speed for battleship was sped up to match mounting speed of ever other mount in the game [*]In #71: Total Crash was changed to be a party buff that allows party members to hit through weapon cancel (in 71.1, it was adjusted to have a 75% success rate) [*]In #71: Marksman boost got a buff where mastery at max level is now 100% Warriors: Lots here and always changing Spoiler Fighter - Power Guard: Duration has been changed from scaling up to 90 seconds at max level to scaling up to 180 seconds at max level. Page’s - Power Guard Duration has been changed from scaling up to 90 seconds at max level to scaling up to 180 seconds at max level. Dragon Knight - Power Crash Added the ability to nullify Weapon Def Up, Magic Def Up and Magic Att Up. Range increased from 400x200px to 600x400px. In update #58, the number of mobs affected is now 15 Crusader - Armor Crash: This was change din update #50 but reverted in update #54 White Knight - Magic Crash: Magic Crash has been renamed to Total Crash. Crashed both Weapon and Magic Cancel as of update #54 in update #58, the number of mobs affected is now 15 White Knight - Fire Charge: Sword: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 120% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. White Knight - Flame Charge: BW: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 120% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. White Knight - Ice Charge: Sword: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 110% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. White Knight - Blizzard Charge: BW: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 110% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. White Knight - Thunder Charge:Sword: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 125% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. White Knight - Lightning Charge: BW: Damage has been changed from scaling up to 125% at max level to scaling up to 130% at max level. Paladin - Blast: Vertical hitbox range has been increased from 60px above the character’s feet to 90px above the character’s feet and 30px below the character’s feet. In update #68: Dark Knight’s Berserk has been buffed: lv 26: 188% damage to 190% lv 27: 191% damage to 195% lv 28: 194% damage to 200% lv 29: 197% damage to 205% lv 30: 200% damage to 210% Dark Knight’s Achilles will now reduce incoming damage by 20% when maxed, up from 15%. Magicians: In update #50: Chain lightning was buffed to 210 damage at max level and Paralyze was buffed to 240 damage at max level In update #54: holy shield protects parties against stuns In update #65: Infinity now lasts 120 seconds when maxed in #65.1: elemental amplification scales down MP usage until maxed, which ends up at 100% Thieves: In update #50: Meso guard maxed lasts 180 seconds, boomerang step can now be used near edges of platforms/maps/slopes In update #65: Recharging stars became more expensive Shadow Shifter was nerfed to 20% rate for NLs and 30% rate for shadowers when maxed Alchemist nerfed from 150% to 125% when maxed Assassinate range increased forward and downward slightly Smokescreen duration increased to 90 seconds from 60 seconds when maxed Boomerang step range increased downwards slightly in #65.1, shadow stars has a 1 second cooldown (so you don't accidentally double tap to cast it twice ) Sometime a long time ago (I don't remember when), Assassinate was buffed to do 950% damage and boomerang step was buffed to do 600% damage You also don't have to charge up assassinate damage in dark sight to do maximum damage Archers: Strife for Marksman was buffed to 125% damage In update #65.1: Marksman boost maxed incresased to +15 weapon attack In update #68: Snipe does damage through weapon cancel Or even better, check out this list made by @xDarkomantis https://royals.ms/forum/threads/new-source-class-skill-changes.152843/ Significant bug fixes: Bugs that change game-play (or affects it visually that makes it different than the original Maplestory), not putting little bugs (or unintentional bugs) because there are a LOT.
