First of all, Happy 8th Anniversary to MapleRoyals! Update 72, along with the usual Anniversary update, there is one new event party quest that requires at least 3 to 6 people. I will try to explain on how to do this party quest in a simple and easy way. This my first time doing a guide so pls be gentle. What do you need? You really don't need much for this party quest, but at least one mage is recommended and I will explain why. You also have only 20 minute to solve this party quest. Introduction When you enter the party quest, you will be warped to a map called Six Paths and there will be six portal for you to pick from. First stage portal will be located at top rightmost of the map, then goes down to second stage and third stage, with fourth stage located on bottom leftmost side of the map, then goes up to fifth and sixth stage. There is no order for this, you can enter any portal and it would be good to split so you can do the party quest faster. Stage 1 : Treading Lightly Stage 1 is pretty straightforward, all you need to do is to kill the Candles and get 7 10 Enchanted Pearl from them. You can't use skills and you will only deal 8 damage to the candle, so attack fast. Try avoiding the Beef Eater if possible, as he has a strong knockback attack that can kick you off the platform if you are not being careful. Once you collected all 7 pearls, hand them to NPC and she will give you Piece R. EDIT : Patch 72.1 now requires you to collect 10 Pearls instead of 7. Stage 2 : All Hands on Deck Stage 2 requires you to kill Candles again and take 25 Golden Apple from them. It is recommended for mages to do this stage instead as there is an area that can be accessed by mages only. There will be cake monster on the isolated platform and killing them will spawn more candles! Once you're done, hand the apples to NPC and you will get Piece A. EDIT : A hidden portal was added on Patch 72.1 on the Magician section for mages who doesn't have their Teleport skill maxed. Stage 3 : Who Turned Off The Lights? Stage 3 requires you to traverse through a map with no lights at all and all you need to do is find Piece L on one of the boxes scattered around the map. Watch out for the traps too! Stage 4 : Snail Shell Shuffle Upon enterering Stage 4, you will be greeted with three different colored snails. This should be simple enough if you tried GPQ before. Just drop the shells on the platform as shown below. Just guess the correct combination and pay attention to hints given by the NPC. When you guessed correctly, a box will spawn on the snail and get your sweet Piece of that S. EDIT : Patch 72.1 removes the drop ownership on snail shells, meaning everyone can now loot the shells regardless on who looted them first. Stage 5 : Octopuzzle This stage is basically KPQ/LPQ like. Just don't need to stand at the platform with sign, find the right combination and you're done. You will receive Piece O from this. Stage 6 : Portal Trouble Upon entering Stage 6, you will see three platform on the ground. This is basically a mini-OPQ like stage. The platform on the left will bring you to left side of the map, the platform on the right will bring you to the right side of the map. From there, all you have to do is just find which platform will bring you to the top and find the correct side to get Piece Y. Final Stage : Dropping the Pieces Once you have gathered all the pieces, it's time to drop them on these platforms on Six Paths. You just have to drop piece R-O-Y on top platform, and piece A-L-S on bottom platform, which spells out ROYALS. Congratulations! You completed this party quest! What do you get from doing this party quest? You will get candles, sunshine, random Maple equip, one Maple Hill Ticket and 8th Anniversary Box which gives you Maple Leafs, Maple Weapons and random pots. Complete the party quest for 40 times and you will get a Silver Leaf Pendant, a Cash pendant with 3+ all stat and 250 HP on it. Do note that the pendant will expires on 20th September 2021 though. EDIT : Silver Leaf Pendant can be upgraded to Gold Leaf Pendant that extends the expiry date from 90 days to 270 days and no change in stats.
UPDATE : @Hae told me that the medal is a NX cover with stats, meaning that you could possibly stack this pendant with your HTP/MoN/anything similar for stat boost. Don't know if it's really worth doing PQ 40 time but, yeah.
It's possible for mages without max tele to do stage 2, but they'll need to trade the apples they loot to someone else for them to turn in, and they'll be stuck there for the remainder of the PQ. When the PQ is finished, they will be teleported out along with the rest of the party and may receive their rewards as per normal. EDIT : Outdated and no longer relevant.
The maple leaf with 7 slots & godly system? edit ; yes, and it has a pretty high drop rate. Woah this PQ is pretty sick.
As for today (21st May 2021), a new patch (Patch 72.1) has made a small change to the Stage 1, you will need 10 Pearls instead of 7 Pearls.
Firstly, this pq is fun. Heads up to the gms! Ty ask for the awesome guide too, @Inugami . Now, to the questions:- 1. How to teleport to the cake monster at the isolated portal on the top left of the map in stage 2? 2. Are there any tricks for stage 5?
1. Pretty sure you just have to mage ultimate it from distance, not sure if there was a hidden portal that brings you there as it was a map specifically made for mages in mind. 2. If you done LPQ at least once, you should know what to do. Can't really explain it properly because I'm bad at it, but one should stay in a platform, the other two moves in a rotation until the rotation ends, then the one that stays in a platform moves to the next one and repeat until you found it
Usually i use my nl to kill it. Can either fj over to them or kill them when they come closer to the edge. Similar to the 1 stage in lpq whr u kill ratz/bloctopus to summon rombots, which happens to b the 2nd last stage which is cancer . Nvr rly tried mage ulti from a distance lol
Mage ulti is doable, but have to wait for the cakes to walk toward you to be close enough, can be slightly annoying. Unlimited daily attempts, but you'll only be rewarded the box (and tokens) three times per reset. Imo, it's only worth doing those three times.
This is so odd lol. This pendant isn't even OP by any standards and there is an expiry date on it. EDIT: unless it has some super cool looking effect
It's an NX cover equip with stats, meaning that you can wear Silver Leaf Pendant on top of Horntail Pendant/Mark of Naricain/etc. Stats might not sound worth it, but again, it's stackable. Hard disagree. NX item with stats should never be made permanent, it would be unfair to newer players that didn't manage to join during the event.
I agree with you duck-sama. However, my problem lies with the fact that I wouldn't want yet another item tied to a yearly event, like valentine's ring and rudolph nose. Also, if it were perma, I would like to see it add no more than 1 stat. Had those two items (nose, ring) not existed as yearly event rewards, then maybe I would endorse a permanent pendant, obtained yearly like this, if it were 1 all stat.
