Isnt this thread kind of bigotry? You're excluding people that are not of a specific group because your preconcieved notions about people from those groups. Maybe im being stupid here though.

 

I’m a minority in this community seeking others like me.

If you would like to frame the fact that I want a safe space for transgender folks and women as BIGOTRY, that just highlights how unfamiliar you and this community are with minorities speaking for their rights.

first of all, i am part of groups that are chill and accept everyone.

if I want to seek spaces where I can be around people are like me, that is entirely my right and you have no right to say what I should do as a member of the majority.

if anyone is part of a minority and is constantly surrounded by people who are not like them, it takes a toll on them. the sense of belonging is not there amongst a myriad of other things that people receive in benefit from being around like minded people.

i don’t want to waste my breath any longer educating folks on the internet when I am just seeking out a safe space and creating a space for others. That is not my responsibility. Please educate yourself before you continue to comment on this thread.

How is it ignorant for me to ask a question? It's like if some1 says they are a furry 2.0 and seeking other furries 2.0 ONLY and I'm like wow furries have evolved too far idk what that even means. Also isn't it kinda exclusive for them to be selecting people only that fit their bias?

Because you literally initiated this quest for "clarification" by dismissing the entire point of this thread (a person seeking community with others from similar marginalized backgrounds) as another one of those "internet woke culture gone too far." as a human being, I'd say you have an obligation to educate yourself when you realize you are ignorant, and not ask to be spoon-fed this information.

Fireheart called me a dumbass for calling out a vote abuser who lied about his voting habits and for lying about his disability, saying I was being harsh as its not confirmed he was lying despite circumstances present.

But it is perfectly fine for fireheart to make jokes of minority groups and call it an exaggerated joke after he got called out for it.
