Perfect clean kanzir scam

I have told people time and time again about this that it is bad behavior to do this to a new player and I do feel bad for him however he should've never sold it to me for 500m in the first place without searching on forums on how much it was before ever trading me. He instantly accepted my offer without knowledge of the price.

 

i never said I was ok with his behaviour nor did I defend him, I literally said that the returning player will most likely leave with a bad feeling because of what happened

To lowball someone that much is to basically be hoping they are new or completely uninformed about the price. I can understand someone merching and swinging the buy/sell price by 15 to 20% but this is way beyond that.

It isn't scamming, but I wouldn't blame anyone that would treat someone that engaged in this behavior the same way they would treat a scammer. In my opinion it ranks only a little higher morally.

Hopefully new players are not discouraged by this. This isn't something exclusive to royals, this has been happening since the existence of mmo's.

The title seems to be misleading because it isnt a scam as most of you have agreed upon.

 

guys actually a madlad to offer 500mil straight up for a perfect kanzir to some random dude gachaing though, cant imagine how many times did he try this and got shat on in return. none of the 17-year merchers i know would actually go so far as to offer such a shit price because in any normal circumstances there'd be at least "decent" lowball offers that make you look like a beggar. i'd just blame the stars for aligning:

• lucky dude gachas perfect kanzir
• lucky dude has faith in humanity
• lucky dude didnt bother valuing his item
• hungry dude has no shame and has been constantly throwing offers like this @ gacha jackpots for god knows how long
• hungry dude has no competitors

So what If i didnt say anything dann maybe nobody would've known about all this being me behind the scenes. There are other people that do this I have seem a perf kanzir sell in the fm for 1b and them not knowing how much the actual price is. What would've happened if I didnt purchase this kanzir? He might've just made a FM store and sell it for dare I say maybe even less than my initial offer.
