2 wa/ma to 3wa/ma for new players cuz inflation, new players too hard to get their att gears. from this party quest, we can make 16wa gloves. and this change is good for old players also, like making duo-attacking mules so, changing stats of this scroll would activate party quest system, so they can help each other
Love this idea, other alternative could be bumping it from 5 slots to 7 slots on the wristbands. This would give the same buff, wouldn't invalidate previous wristbands. and bumping from 150>210 HP is just sweet enough to encourage more OPQers.
Great idea, I do think pqs is buffed, but not buffed well enough... Everyone's still in the LHC RG meta.
You will never get more players to play PQ's no matter what you decide to buff. The problem has always been leeching. Majority of the players leech and unless that will change, people wont party up together for grinding / PQ's.
Well, leeching costs mesos, if you implement good exp gains as well as add actual rewards for running pqs(like nx), it will make a lot more sense for players to spend time leveling through pqs, but the exp gains are laughable compared to leeching as well as the rewards from most pqs are almost non existent. If we are so confident that no one would run pqs regardless, what are we even risking by buffing them? “Worse case” players will actually play the game together.
Honestly it's a good idea Gotta buff pqs rewards and xp, so people actually want to run some of them.
With +3 attack you would be able to make 17~19 atk gloves not 16. +3 is what 10%/30% glove for attack scrolls give. Those OPQ scrolls are 100% passrate. 19 attack gloves are ~12b now. Do you think OPQ should give such gloves? Gloves like 15 atk SCG currently ~2b would drastically loose value. I don’t think it’s a good idea.
i meant, 1wa glove + 3wa scrolls, and.. i think every party quests should worth as something (like rg) but untradeables... should give chance to do alternative contents
The current OPG glove is 2~4 attack clean. Just to be sure, you’re suggesting them to always be 1 attack clean and scroll giving +3 attack at 100%? What about people with a clean 4 attack one now or semi scrolled?
I agree that after implementation of random stats to the glove it would be impossible to make such a change but after reading the post again and reading op's comments, I think OP is more concerned about how dead OPQ is, and many other PQS are, and buffing the glove would have been the way to revive OPQ and encourage teamplay and more variety in the game, rather then specifically the state of the glove, it feels that's what he was trying to convey, that no one is running OPQ or any PQ because there is not enough incentive to do so. I personaly am hurt to see how dead and impossible it is to run most pqs without muling, make more pqs viable by adding rewards exactly like it is done in RG, obviously not to the same extent, but in the same logic, where you get rewarded for your time, even if way less, anything that will make players actually want to play the game together instead of buying leech or making mesos, there will never be a perfect world where everything is meta, but it can go in that direction and come close.
i think its same case like int raccoon mask after update #81 , even this gloves is untradeable.. i dont think it will have a negative impact on other people.. and u already know, the golden shoes buyer's case before easter updates...
Of course, even if it is not this proposal, I believe that the gms will someday implement some amazing ideas to revive party quests.
I think the better option is a sort of compromise, as not everyone gets a +4 W.Attack glove as well. And some people roll grey gloves after doing all those OPQs. If we consider Time is money, and the meta is still leech Maybe if instead of bumping it up to +3 * 5 Maybe add another slot and we can do +2 * 6 I mean here's the thing at it's current 10-14 W. Attack range.... nobody is choosing this as an option even newer players who can't afford 2b for a 15 attack glove. If you can say it's 12-16 and you trade in your time instead for them then we've got potential. A max of 14 is not enticing anyone to do tens to hundreds of OPQs A max of say 16 and a low of 12 (Average of 14) might be a lot more tempting. I think it's almost in the sweet spot, but not quite there given how hard it is to find a party to OPQ as well. That's just my 2 cents though as a random player. A bishop main at that.
4/6 clean makes it better then 3/6 bwg, even tho untradeable it is still a glove that can be scrolled with 10/30% and ws/cs, affecting the cgs market in that fashion is dangerous, hence why I believe that touching the glove is probably not the way to buff OPQ or any PQ for that matter, reward players with NX or random prizes that are equivalent in mesos to the time they are putting in doing the pq. and if I am being completely honest the reason I’m disregarding the glove is not just the fact that specifically it is very hard to balance like said, but because it is a niche and it will not make everyone want to opq regardless of how good the glove is, to actually buff and see a pq alive you need to have a reward that is universally desired by everyone. EPQ is the perfect example, once in a while a party runs it to get the ring and other then that it’s dead. While in the other hand you have something like RG/APQ that everyone runs cause everyone desires earning mesos, reward players properly for their time doing pqs and we might get to see some pqs being alive like back in gms. For example with OPQ, reward players with 1k nx guaranteed once the pq is finished with a chance at 5k and have a limit of 3 per day for getting the rewards, and disable muling like done in events, that will make players want to run multiple pqs 3 times a day, exactly like they do daily bossing. And for LPQ make the boxes at bon stage drop NX cards with the same restrictions. These are just examples from the top of my head the random numbers can be changed, it is the incentive that most importantly should be there for running pqs, that simply doesn’t exist right now.
