I made an SE mule and am wondering when I should stop adding my AP into INT? I'm lvl 31 with 137 base INT and another 46 from current equips. I can get the extra INT up to +80-90 after lvl 50. I know I'll need 1 APR each time I want to take out of MP and put into HP from increasing my max MP with extra INT, but I'll also need 137 extra APRs at this point to redistribute the INT into DEX later on to make the BM playable. If I stop adding AP into INT at like 150 base INT and continue to use my INT equips when leveling, will I have enough HP for all the major bosses later on to provide SE? Or do I need to keep loading all my AP into INT? Thanks in advance.
You said "SE mule" in the title of the post, but you are adding INT. So is this meant to be a playable SE or just a mule?
Well I like the idea of using it as a mule with the potential to play it at a later point. Does it have to be one or the other?
The meso cost of a bloodwashed SE mule and a playable SE mule that can be brought into bosses is very different. What bosses would you like to bring this mule to? That will also help to answer the question of how much INT you need. If you want to bring it to every end game boss, you will need more than 200 INT in addition to MP washing. (18k+ HP)
Could probably get away with a bit less I think. Since it's a mule that means you don't need to reset int/stop using int gear at 135 and can keep getting extra MP for a few extra levels, depending on when they'd want to actually play it. Also, for OP's question I would recommend using the washing calculator.
Well I'd like to have the potential to do every boss eventually. So you're saying I can stop at like 180 base INT and then have my equips on top of it and probably be ok?
If you want to do major bossing as an SE attacker, you gotta Mp washing like bibz said. Int gear doesn't help much, just a little.. the MP washing with High INT matters. And you mean it is a " Washed SE attacker ", don't call it "SE mule" anymore, they are different leagues.
Ok I understand the distinction between mule (never playable) vs attacker (intention to play). So MP wash means adding AP to INT in addition to just using INT equips right? I've copied the washing spreadsheet and tried to mess around with it, but I find the interface lacking clear instruction and detail. It's hard to identify the base INT I need to get enough HP by lvl 135 to hypothetically get around 18k. It also sounds like if I had 200 base INT and wanted to make it playable, that I would need a bunch of APs to do the actually washing and then 200 more APs to transfer the INT to DEX. How do people afford this? Or am I missing something?
Why do you need so much HP at only 135? I'd recommend rethinking your goals which helps reduce costs a lot. The most you should need is 19k HP by level 175 (maybe 146) for Auf Haven, and keep in mind since it's a mule you can keep your base int until that point. Washing is, in fact, expensive as you've discovered. Since it's a mule you can ignore the transferring int to dex until you actually care about playing it, which helps defer the costs. As for affording it, run content that makes you money, and do it consistently every day. It'll add up over time.
18k by lvl 135 is pretty insane. Try to reach 18k by 150-175 instead. You can also easily shave of 1-3k from your hp goal from quests and gear. I had 200 base INT and prolly somewhere around 1b worth of INT-gear to get my BM to be able to wash to 16k at lvl 150. Spend about 6b on APR to get it to 9k/9k around lvl 150. Yes, it is this expensive to wash. You can always decide to just only reset your INT and play the game instead. There is very little content that requires any wash before 155-170. My Ironman NL has 10k hp at lvl 155. It has done like 10 repeatable hp-quest. Has 4 base INT and recently used the first 5 apr for wash. It has no Card Medal, MoN or BFC and only yellow dojo belt and just a single pet equip scrolled with +140hp. It's up to you if you find it more economical to spend your time farming meso or playing the game. Whatever you decide on, less than 150 Base INT is imo too expensive and burdensome for a fairly insignificant increase in potential HP.
Thanks for the information. So if I am making a strictly SE mule, should I not be putting AP into INT at all and instead should be putting everything straight into HP?
Yes, because it's far cheaper to just do that and pay a total of 0 APRs to wash, and since it's a pure mule the lack of stats to deal damage with don't matter
