Idk man you need to re-read all that again, I'm seeing that you completely misunderstood Tim.
The original BL entry was created by a player - that already have their forum account, but they created a new one just to filed a report on Foxy. No one in this forum may have 2 separate account, that's a written rule.
There are cases that users got their forum accounts merged because staff discovered that they have different forum accounts - nothing related to GMs at all.
I hope you can get a correct view on this specific situation.

Public question: Are we allowed to speak for someone else though? For example, if this anonymous person reaches out to me. Am I allowed to post it on his behalf? Couldn't find anything in the rules against that.

 

However in cases for player reports, many times us players do not have concrete evidence to get them banned.

Think of your average new skele leech buyer who got scammed. Most players do not have the concrete evidence of the entire trade transaction and recording of them logging off with their money so they post it on the blacklist for visibility.

As one of the people who claimed was affected, my sources have been sent to Tim but they are mostly word of mouth. I heard almost all of it went on through voice chatting. I myself didn’t even know I was perma banned, I didn’t tell a soul as my soul itself wasn’t even aware yet the status of my ban was aware to dozens of ingame players.

To me this topic is both a staff and a community issue, as the community was involved. And so be it, maybe it’s not feisty. But I’m sure as damn hell it was a staff member that leaked my ban status.

I’ve had multiple people inform me it was spoken about in their voice calls, and no it isn’t Geto. I don’t like Geto, we aren’t friends like that lol.

As a result, I likely don’t have enough evidence to get them removed off of staff, just like how billybob doesn’t have enough evidence to get xxskeleleecherxx banned for scamming. So why can’t players put their side of the story on the community blacklist and let shira decide.

Even if Matt/Tim believes us, it is unlikely in my opinion feisty is removed from staff. The amount of shit Pure/Saturn did until they finally removed him is much more than what Feisty may or may not have done. And Matt would be in a real difficult spot having to look for more unpaid qualified volunteers. He just went through the trouble after two of his long tenured staff members that rwted/duped and had to overhaul staff powers. I’m not saying Matt doesn’t take this issue seriously, but if I was him, even if I believe in the accusations, I would probably give Feisty a warning and move on with it because there’s already a severe lacking of manpower. So, I’m supposed to just here knowing I got 100% wronged?

Just like blacklist posts, if there is enough community and anecdotal evidence, why can’t we create a new blacklist community section as this is a new situation.

Staff Abuse

I full heartedly believe Shiratsuyu should consider making a new section for Staff Abuse.
This is a scenario where we don’t have (at least I don’t) enough evidence to get her banned/removed. In addition, she should stay on that list even if she is removed from staff. Personally I would put Pure/Saturn on the Staff Abuse community blacklist section if he still played/wasn’t banned already.

People who are eventually temp banned for scamming. They do not get removed from the community blacklist just because they serve their 7-14 day temporary ban. Feisty should stay and people should know she was blacklisted by the community for sharing sensitive staff information to players even if she returns to a normal player. Regardless if she is or isn’t removed by staff, as it has become a community issue for getting the community involved.

A different example:
If Becca was talking shit about me in the staff chat and laughing at my banned status with other staff members. A bit distasteful, but ultimately this is within the staff chat, and in my opinion, not a community issue. This is a scenario where it got leaked outward to the community, so it is both a staff and a community issue.

Motion to require this be quoted in every reply about this entire situation and add a confirmation that it was read before allowing the next reply.

To me this entire situation seems like a petty competition of pointing fingers with baseless accusations and speaking on conjecture over, and over. It's clear that there are some strong feelings in both directions and everyone wants to share their opinions about a situation that, from an outside perspective, they have limited information on, but I think without more concrete evidence this is quickly devolving into a popularity contest rather than a constructive conversation about whether someone should be blacklisted.

I think for the people commenting with limited information on the alleged allegations against Foxy they should wait for an official word from Staff because ultimately that's up to them whether you like it or not.

Regarding whether Geto should be blacklisted this doesn't seem like enough evidence to support that argument, in my opinion, and that is with taking out as much bias as possible (To be frank I don't really care for him either, but I also don't have enough interaction with him, by choice, to make a decision to completely speak out against him).

As for Geto getting kicked from a guild or alliance on the word of another member... This is a situation that should be resolved with the parties involved. Geto can defend himself and plead his own case to the guild he was kicked from. Why is this even in question? Are we now voting as a community every time anyone gets kicked from a guild or alliance. Lmao. Arguing that this is an abuse of her influence is hilarious at best.

Let's grow up a little here people and look at things objectively. There are appropriate channels for voicing opinions (with or without any evidence). I would also suggest taking out as much of your emotional response as possible because it only invalidates your arguments and the information you are presenting.

 

Can we address something that's equally concerning?

The fact that a guild as big and reputable as Ohms having a dedicated channel to talk shit about other royals players (GMs and players alike).



Or the fact that members in this guild (namely Geto & Terravore) are parroting misogynistic takes like "__ doing her best to disseminate the stereotype that women are incorrigible gossips kekw" and laughing in agreement about it. That in itself is disgusting.


It speaks volumes about the culture and tone that is set inside that guild. This isn't the first instance where members of this guild have targeted others and gone too far. Every issue that is brought up to their leadership is quickly dismissed. The guild cares more about pride and 'saving face' more than anything, even if/when their guild members have wronged the community.

I'll put my obvious bias out there: I dislike Geto. Not because of his obvious character assassination attempts @ Heidi/Feisty or his rat-like behavior when it comes to snooping for dirt in private dms and various guild discords, but because I genuinely believe he's a bad character.

And don't bother calling this harassment, because I'm speaking anecdotally through personal experience. Geto aggressively attacks people on this blacklist thread without remorse. When he receives any pushback, he goes into a "I'm coming from a higher/superior ground" and ends the discussion. He spams discord channel #selling to the point where mods had to implement a slowdown limit. He's constantly begging others for mesos and items when he's already received a fair share(understatement) of handouts from the community. Bro, you can't possibly be broke when you are geared up head to toe and always selling 2b+ value items. That's like me saying I'm broke and begging people for free gen30/mw20 books.

I have friends in Ohms guild that I enjoy playing with and I hope they won't take this personally. But the guild culture there needs to be questioned. They let their members run afoot with very little consequence or remorse for their actions. Racist comments, demanding players to be kicked from discords/VL runs, snooping in other guild discords and constant instigating drama/shit-stirring. I understand that a guild comprises of many individuals and singular bad apples don't make a whole, but these issues are constantly ignored and swept under the rug by their leadership. It's too much.

I don't have a foot in this race anymore as my real life priorities are in order at the moment, but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

 

For your awareness and cultural context, Ohms is a Southeast Asian guild, and "talk cock" is a colloquial phrase that translates essentially to "yapping". "Talk cock" does not mean a conversation exclusively dedicated to shit talking people. It's not "talking shit".

No, the chat isnt to talk trash on people or diss them, its for shitposting mostly. Personally i am using it to talk about league of legends pro scene.

Literally everone is talking whatever they like in this chat and it by no means reflect any official guild chat to disrespect other members of the community as you falsely accused us of or assumed.

I have nothing further to say on the situation since i am unrelated to anything that is being talked on this thread, nor would I like to put myslef in any sort of drama.

it's not the title of the channel that's in question, it's the contents of that channel. And it's not certainly limited to Geto & Terravore alone as members in that channel seem to really enjoy the conversational topics (aka shit talking people).

EDIT: You can see a clear representation of the problems I mentioned in the post above mine. Basically: "Our member's actions do not reflect our guild but we will not condone or prevent said actions from happening in the future either".

Anyway I'm not about to start defending a guild I have no relation to, and I just wanted to clarify any misconceptions people might have about what "talking cock" might be. It's not that deep.

 

I have nothing to be ashamed of ever writing and having a so called 'mole' in a discord dedicated to playing a mushroom game does not bother me personally. You trying to induce drama by spreading misinformation then trying to gaslight it was not what you meant literally in the following post does.

Well, Ohms leadership team initially had 0 intentions of butting into this community blacklist thread and just let yall trash it out because you know, people believe what they want to believe and we don't really care to speak for ourselves when knowing that the community blacklist is all about he say she say and going back and forth which is a huge waste of our time, but seems like we have been baited into doing so when our entire guild is being targeted here right now. It's 8.30am on a Saturday morning, it's raining heavily outside - what a nice weather to sleep in, but here I am out of bed just to address this.

What makes me flabbergasted right here is that, are we seriously discussing about how we choose to run our guild in a community blacklist? If anything, I actually take pride that we care about our members rather than just removing them at the slightest bit of controversy in order to protect our guild image. That's why our guildies trust us, because we actually do care about our own people, and we're not just about maintaining a reputation that holds no real value. If we really believe that a particular person is incorrigible after we have counselled them, only then will we take the next course of action. Some food for thought here - have any of you considered why Geto, someone who is such a loudspeaker on forums, is so quiet even after people are dragging his name through the mud here?

I rarely use the forums and can't really be f-ed to do the quoting shit. But let's address it point by point and for anything I left out, it's either intentional or unintentional, or maybe it's just none of anyone's business why it's not being addressed.

1. Ohms talk cock channel
This channel is dedicated to talk about anything under the sun. We talk about literally anything in this channel, mainly for off-topic conversations or rubbish. The accusation of this channel being dedicated to talk shit about other players and GMs is untrue. What is true is that talking shit about other players and GMs have definitely happened here. It is not meant for the public eye, or anyone outside of the Ohms guild. We do not police what our members do outside of the game as that is within their rights and their own free will, unless it is being flagged for our attention. The leadership team have our own lives to lead as well and we do not read every single thing. It's not a dictatorship we're running here.

You talk about the contents of the channel just based off some screenshots and assume that's the entirety of the channel. It's like looking at a picture of a mouth with a moustache and assuming that's a man. Well, guess what if you look at the entire picture? It could totally be a woman.

Also, thank you to @Provocateur for highlighting the meaning of "talk cock" in our cultural context. It is spot on, but if people can't accept that and insist otherwise, let's just leave it at that.

Cmon, we are humans, not saints. Is anyone really going to take the highroad here and claim you've never shit talked about someone you don't like and behaviours you don't agree with? Have you never laughed with others about a situation when shit happens to someone you don't like? Are you telling me that you have never participated in the likes of this, and have always shut people down when they're gossiping and bitching about others? I don't think so. I am pretty sure with all that is going on right now, it is exactly what you're doing with your own friends. Are you or any of your friends squashing that supposed crappy behaviour? Are they partaking in the shit that you're talking about (aka encouraging)? I'm quite sure you all are. On the off chance I am wrong about this, then I am wrong. But well, I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say here.

I'm not even going to go to the part where some of the shit talking made was done in retaliation. I'm not here on a witch hunt to ruin reputations or tear others apart.

That being said, it does not mean we condone such behaviours and have already addressed it internally - which is something that we should not need to answer to anyone.

You're not privy to the information of what we do in within our guild especially on the leadership level so I will forgive your ignorance on this. Issues at hand have already been addressed. We did not bother trying to figure out who the "mole" is, and I even told my guildies not to go around speculating who it is because we do not want to be sowing internal discord, but it just so happened that we came across some evidence that pointed us in a direction therefore we investigated further and have also then concluded it. Even our own guildies are not aware of it and was kept confidential to the leadership team and the people suspected to be involved. For you to even know that we are "trying to figure out who the mole is" means that the people we actually spoke to has talked about it and this is another huge hint you have provided us so I thank you for that.

5. Disliking Geto for snooping for dirt in private dms
Do you know that your own friends that you associate with do the exact same thing? We had folders of screenshots of private DMs being sent to us to be used against someone in our guild.

6. Issues are constantly ignored and swept under the rug by their leadership
Big accusation there. Nothing is being ignored or swept under the rug. We are not obligated to answer to anyone what we decide to do and if you're not happy with the end results because it isn't what you expect, maybe that's your personal issue instead. Who are you, or anyone, to dictate how we run the guild or the "punishments"/"consequences" that are met out? You can advise, we will take it, but it doesn't mean we have to follow it. That is up to our own discretion. Vice versa. And if values are not aligned, we'll just gladly remove ourselves from being further associated. There is no need to go on further smear campaign following that like what you guys are doing now. It's not like we do not have our own dirt to dish out here but there will be no end to it and we prefer very much to just move on.

Nothing here is about pride or saving face. If anything, saving face would mean that we expel members at the very first sign of a problem so we don't actually have a problem. Our "face" will definitely be "saved" then wouldn't it? In essence, we value our people that makes up the guild. Whether they are right or wrong, we will counsel them and make our own judgement call. So what are you actually really getting at? No actually, don't answer me because I will be tempted to reply and I do not actually wish to further engage in this.

The community can judge for themselves, everyone has their own free will to their own opinions and we do not have a particular interest to sway it in any way. If you think we suck, we suck. So be it.

Hypocrisy runs rampant on the internet. Any person that tells you they've never talked about someone behind their back is a liar or they have and they just don't remember doing it. The mostly complete anonymity the internet grants people gives them courage to talk poorly about others because the risk of being caught is often low.
