I'm familiar with hp washing, but mp washing is something new to me. I think I fucked up and blooded 14 ap's? Can you confirm what my total AP in stats should be for lv155? I'm not sure how much total AP you start with, or what job advance(s) gave you extra. This is where I'm sitting right now. If I'm understanding the mistake I made correctly, I should be able to pull from MP and add to Dex with AP resets. The problem is I'm now sitting at minimum MP, since I washed to that point. If this is all indeed correct, I should just level up a few times with my Int gear on, get enough excess MP to wash back 14 times, then reset that into Dex?
You should have 789 AP You have 776. Yeah. Just get some more MP and wash more. Or remove it from HP. Those are your two choices.
So right now, I have 13 resets in my pool (?), and I should theoretically be able to use a Reset to -mp and +Dex. I can't though, the option is grayed out when I go to use Reset. I'm assuming that's only because I'm at minimum mp for my level (?), and if I level up with 150 Int, at what level will I have enough excess mp to "unblood" my AP from mp back into Dex? edit; Or alternatively, is there anything I can do with my Resets now to mp wash my mp back up into an amount where I can wash the excess mp into Dex?
Yes, you've reached your minimum MP. As soon as your MP hits 2318, you should be able to pull another point out (although, that number goes up by 14 every level). You'll need 156 excess MP to pull out 13 points, which would take 10 levels of 150 INT (15*10 + the extra 1 point of washable MP you get per level). You could, alternatively, as you suggested, MP Wash 19 times, with your current Raw INT of 60, during your next 4 level ups, and that will get you an excess 158MP to pull, which will reach your goal (assuming you get the extra +1 MP every levelup). Or just MP Wash 20 times to play it safe. (Or just MP Wash 19 times, and do it one more time if you need to xP xP xP).
Hi people can you tell me what to do next because i was reading many posts and now im totaly confused what next. On the up is my hunter and im thinking wchich way to choose mp washing or normall hp wash and if you can tell my what will be the best add ap from lvl up to int or buy int equips or both.
You actually shouldn't have any STR right now since you're using Maple weapons, but eh... Base INT is the more effective choice by far because you can MP wash with it, and reaching very high HP is practically impossible without it. What I'd recommend is to reset around 20 of your STR into INT right now as soon as you can. Ideally you wouldn't have added any STR at all until you get your hands on a good high level bow that requires STR, but whatever, a bit late for that now. 50 STR is definitely too much, though, since with decent STR equips you'll be able to reach whatever STR you need without needing much base STR. The best results would be to reset all of your STR into INT and add more STR later when you need it, but that's kinda expensive so you don't really have to do that. By the time you reach 20 base INT, you'll be at least breaking even for every MP wash. I wouldn't start MP washing until reaching higher INT, though, since paying 9m for a profit of 1 MP isn't a great deal at all. Maybe at 70 or 80 INT. INT equips are fine, and you should buy them as long as it doesn't break your bank. But they aren't likely to get you to 9k @ lv155 on their own. Normal HP washing cannot even come close to comparing with MP washing, in terms of effectiveness. tl;dr 1. Use 20 AP resets to reset 20 STR into INT. You won't need that STR. 2. Put your level up AP into INT from now on. 3. When you reach a certain amount of INT, you can decide to start MP washing, and put the reset AP into INT. When should you start? It depends. At 50 base INT, you'll get 4 MP per wash. At 60 base INT, you'll get 5 MP per wash. It's not very cost-effective yet but it's free MP anyways. 4. When you reach a very high level of INT, like 140 or 150 or 160, MP wash into DEX instead of INT. 5. Anytime you feel like it, feel free to use a reset to +HP -MP. 6. When your total HP and MP are enough to reach your goal, reset all your base INT into DEX. There's no rush to do this. The more levels you keep that INT, the better.
Did I do something wrong in my steps in MP washing? 1. Added 1 AP into MP 2. Used AP reset to take out of MP 3. Tried to add into Luk but didnt work. Luk is still at 4 when it should be 5.
anyone know how much hp you need to tank black crow and bigfoot as an NL? it's pretty easy avoiding bf as a NL but what about black crow?
Are you sure you weren't under your minimum MP amount? Once you hit minimum MP for your level, you can't take out MP using an AP reset. You'd have to wait until you level up again, and above your minimum MP for your level before you can take out from MP and add to your class stat.
I killed black crow as an archer, he has a touch damage and a short distance magic of around 8500. He is very easy to pin actually (easier than bf) but the himes in the map are quite annoying so it's pretty hard to solo him (better do a duo with a mage/warrior to take care of the himes). Bigfoot is harder to pin but doesn't have annoying mobs (in most of the maps) but his touch damage is really high (around 11300 or so) so you'll need a lot of hp.
Still having trouble with MP washing. Lvl 38 assassin currently with 1279 MP. I calculated my min MP to be 680 so I should be able to take out of MP and place into Luk but its still not letting me Help please
You can only use a reset to -MP if there is at least one AP in the HP/MP pool. MP washing works because you have to place a fresh AP into MP first before resetting MP into LUK. This is likely what's happening; MP washing is always fresh +MP, then -MP +other stat. HP washing (for assassins) works because you place a fresh AP into HP before resetting MP into LUK (ignore this if you're MP washing). HP washing for other classes works because with one AP in the HP/MP pool, resetting MP into HP still leaves a total of one AP in the HP/MP pool. Otherwise you'd just be able to accumulate a load of MP, reset it all into main stat, and be grossly overpowered.
Since archers average at 4500HP at lvl 155, you would need to wash 10500HP. This means you will need to have 7035MP above your Minimum MaxMP value. Archers, on average, gain 432 Washable MP by lvl 155. Therefore, you will need to accumulate 6603MP by lvl 155. Inserting 6603 into the equation as MpNeeded... OptimalRawINT = 10*SqRt(MpNeeded/11) = 245 Your OptimalRawINT =~250 INT Going above, or below this value, will cost you additional AP Resets in the future.
