Even if this is nerfed to 5 atk, with the potential godly system, i feel its still way better than a necklace.

I guess 2k HP addition to some classes is a pretty decent amount to make HP washing doable without making most players broke. I wonder how difficult these quests will be.

I really like @MushroomYoYo's idea of having a consequence or negative impact for using one of these medals/potions that give a ridiculous amount of HP as this would allow players who don't have the funds to wash fully still participate in horn tails while still giving players who washed an advantage in damage.

 

More gun weapon NX please. Theres only a few that actually make sense for a corsair to get

hi there, i can see 2 distinct disadvantages to this though, which is:

• unwashed players will never get the chance to participate in ht as an attacker with the massive attack drop - they can buy htp services though, which is still good if this is the intent!
• muling in bosses like ht is going to be even more common than right now, which is somewhat uncommon - because they have higher hp, they can go 30k easier - i'm not sure that this direction would help the server in steering a '5 nl 1 se pt with the rest all mules' into a 'pt with a variety of jobs making it more fair, even tho one can already argue that it's unlikely that this would happen anyway since you already see people taking range so seriously for HT's, and usually already go for the nl route anyway... it just make sed role = nl then'

 

Also, please fix Alcadno's side of the Magatia quest line please.

Well I feel that the bigger picture is when PB ever gets released, majority of the ranged clssses in royals won’t be able to participate without spending crazy amount of mesos washing. And implementing penalties would make it even more impossible to take it down, judging by the fact it took potential system to take it down on sea servers. I really hope royals implements the 2k HP potion in the server. So rather then looking at just HT, I feel like we should look ahead.

 

This high HP medal will pretty much only benefit Bishops and some other mules/buyers as they don't do much damage, and with high HP you could ignore the dispels and afk instead of having a challenge.
People could make a Shadower or something and give it the medal to make it some OP sed mule who never dies and have the bishop become a mule too, or make some huge HP SE mule.

So basically instead of helping players who don't have funds you help the rich players who have mules (and this way you'd harm a lot of classes too cause nobody would recruit them if you can bring a mule instead)

 

giving 2k free HP also benefits mules. It will be even easier to make mules and wash them after next patch.

Will the pro players be pro with/without this update? Yes

They don't give any HP to mages so not really. And for others 2k is insignificant and the trouble to get the HP is more than just adding points into HP (you do no damage anyway) . I was thinking of his idea as a medal that gives like 10k HP or doubles your HP at the cost of -50% damage or something

 

sry i didn't say it very clearly, i meant, because as i know bb system makes dmg from monsters not that terrible, is this part better than thinking up new ideas or new system to add additional hp to chars? we don't need anything else from bb.

I have been comming back and quitting in MapleRoyal. Why? I am trying to have fun trying characters, but as it's a slow level server, it's not that easy to test all the characters. So, lets say I want to test NL and wash it, then if I don't like it #RIP all my NX Cash funds. Because the HP bonus wont be able to be passed to my other chars.

I vouch for making a tradable item with HP so you can test many characters and have fun without needing to wash them one by one.
This is indeed a good idea so people when get bored of their main can easily switch to another one without needing to wash again (just xferring the HP equipment)

 

Usually people know how every class work and if they din't they should check maybe a old video or something like that. Also there's a fews guide at forum about character gameplay en general, same as skill % dmg and all that stuffs.
Maybe in a very low % of new players this can be consdidering a problem, but taking mayority as priority, i think this itsn't should be a big problem for the staff.

 

This is dumb.

As someone that wants to be able to play a Night Lord but does not want to put the effort into making a bishop, leveling myself to 4th job, and then leech myself, this is an extremely welcomed change. 2k HP on a NL as a new player requires a lot of investment that a new player doesn't have. If they're at the point of being able to fund a NL, they are not new.
2k hp makes a world of difference and lets players survive an extra hit at most places. This on top of HP washing with cheap int items/small int investment will mean players who are new (or people like me that just vote every day for SP resets) will be able to get much further without having to invest hundreds of hours into the game.

This benefits everyone equally. Except mages.
