    - Minimum of 10 Players Required

    - 2 of each Class Required (2 Warriors, 2 Magicians, 2 Archers, 2 Thieves, 2 Pirates etc.)

    - A Player with Maxed Haste & Flash Jump

    - Archer(s) preferably 4th Job and with a decent Attack Range (Will be explained further below at Stage 5)

    - Rusher for the Boss Stage (2 Rushers preferred, but can be done with 1 - will be harder)

    - The
    Expedition Leader must have Pre-Quests done for Keystone which will be needed in order to enter.
    *This
    Expedition Leader will also need 12 Crimson Hearts from Crimson Guardians for every new round of CWKPQ

    - Level 90

    - Minimum 3,500 HP for Ranged Players, 7,000 HP for Melee

    - Loads of All Cure Potion (Recommend about 300)

    - Attack potions (Recommended)

    After your Expedition have fulfilled these requirements you are ready to gather up at CWKPQ Entrance.

    Since Crimsonwood Keep is located at a rather deep end of Phantom Forest and it's easy for one to get lost, a video will make a better Guide than me words.
    Do note that there is a Jump Quest (Valley of the Heroes 1 & 2) along the way and failure to complete it properly may kill you.

    - There will be room where you Sign Up just like Zakum Runs. The Expedition leader (with pre quests done and 12 Crimson Heart) talks to NPC Jack to start an Expedition and the members will sign up after.

    - There is a 15 minute cool down period between runs on same channel.

    - CWKPQ can only be attempted
    twice a day (24 hours)

    - Sigils (read below)

    Sigils are Map Reactors that will come into play during Stages 2, 3 and 4.
    There are 5 Different types of Sigils, one for each Class as follows (Notice the varying symbol)

    For Stages 2, 3 and 4 where Sigils are involved, Players would have to activate their respective Class's Sigil (and the Stage clears when All 5 Sigils have been activated)

    In order to activate the Sigil you will need to stand in front of your respective Sigil and use a certain skill of your class. [E.g. Strafe for Archers]

    A Blue Notice will appear in the chat screen as soon as you've activated your Sigil for you to note. Once you're done, wait for your other members to activate their respective Sigils and the Stage will be cleared as soon as all the Sigils are activated.

    Tips: Discuss within your Expedition beforehand on which member will be in-charge of Activating the Sigils (Since there will be 2 of each Class, while only 1 is needed to Activate the Sigils)

    Moving onto the actual Party Quest!

    All that is required of this Stage is to locate the Hidden Portal within the map and enter into Stage 2.
    Walk towards the right side of the map and find the portal as shown below

    *If you stay for too long in this Stage, Guardians will spawn. (I don't have much info about these as I've never stayed there for too long)

    For Stage 2, you have to find for your respective Class's Sigil and activate it. Portal to Stage 3 will be opened as soon as all 5 Sigils are activated.

    Time Limit: 10 minutes

    Stage 3, again, is about finding your respective Class's Sigil and activating it. However this time your Sigils are scattered across a Jump Quest (relatively easy)

    Similar to Stage 2, the portal to the next Stage opens once all 5 Sigils are activated.

    Things to Note:

    - Thieves, remember to Haste your party members beforehand to aid with the Jump Quest.

    - Only the 5 Players of their Respective Classes that are in-charge of activating the Sigils have to Jump, the rest of the Players may wait at the bottom. Better to be organized and avoid confusion, than have everyone jumping around.

    - For the Jumpers: Once you have activated your respective Sigil, you will have to continue jumping up to the Top Portal (DO NOT come back down backwards). When all 5 Sigils have been activated, All 5 Players who jumped should pass through the Top Portal (and will appear at the bottom after) followed by entering the Portal to Stage 4 with everyone else below.

    - There will be pillars moving around the Jump Quest Map that will deal damage about 99% of your HP upon contact. Remember to have your HP FULL at all times (Power Elixirs recommended) otherwise you WILL DIE if you get hit by the pillar without having Full HP.

    Time Limit: 10 minutes

    Similar to Stages 2 & 3, there are 5 Sigils to be Activated before the Portal to Stage 5 opens. However in this Stage, there is a different type of Jump Quest (filled with Stirges and Flames that will try to knock you down) and the Sigils are not located at a fixed location but at random (Mini-map shown below)

    Tip: Jump all the way to the top first and then move towards either left or right side down and test the Sigils. Once your sigil is activated, wait for the rest to finish. Head to the portal once all the Sigils are activated.

    Time Limit: 15 minutes

    In this stage each Class has their own room to do. You will obtain a Weapon once you've cleared your respective room, which you will then need to place on the Main Statue outside. It is recommended that everyone helps in this stage to complete this within the Time Limit.

    IMPORTANT: Always ensure you have free ETC slots to collect these Weapons (especially those given by the Statue NPC) to avoid a failed run from losing the Weapon.

    Warrior's Room - Ignore the Guards in this room (not 100% certain if they need to be killed or not) and climb your way to the top. Talk to the statue in order to recieve the Weapon (Sword). After that, head out of the room and drop the Sword on the Main Statue. (refer to Diagram below)

    Magician's Room - Find your way to right side of the map using Teleport and talk to the Statue to receive the Weapon (Staff). After that, head back to the door the way you came.
    *Note (May or may not be relevant): In some versions of Maple the Magician's Room sometimes glitches, meaning you won't be able to head the same way back where you came. If this happens in Royals, here's how you get back to the door where you came from:

    Once you're out drop the Staff on the Main Statue. (refer to Diagram below)

    Archer's Room - Complete this room by killing all the Black Guardians (7) which has 7,000,000 HP each. Once they are all killed talk to the Statue inside to receive the Weapon (Bow). After that, head out of the room and drop the Bow on the Main Statue (refer to Diagram below)
    *A total of 49,000,000 HP to be dealt and cleared with within the 15 Minutes Time Limit, hence the need for a decent Attack Range and 4th Job Archer(s)

    Thief's Room - Complete this room by killing all the enemies with regular attacks. Once you're done talk to the Statue at the bottom to receive the Weapon (Claw). After that, head out of the room and drop the Claw on the Main Statue. (refer to Diagram below)

    Pirate's Room - The whole room is filled with water and monsters such as Gobies, Sharks and Squids. There will also be Gold Colored Treasure Chests in this room. Your objective would be to find the Weapon (Gun) within these Chests. Once you have found it, head out of the room and drop the Gun on the Main Statue. (refer to Diagram below)

    If the reactor doesn't respond, move a little and try again. Once they're all placed the portal below to Stage 6 will be opened. Prepare for Boss Stage!

    Time Limit: 1 hour 30 minutes

    To Begin, the Expedition Leader will have to talk to the Statue NPC towards the right side of the map. Guardians will be spawned in the middle of the map shortly after. Once these mobs are killed, the 4 bosses; Red Nirg (Warrior), Margana (Magician), Rellik (Archer) and Hsalf (Thief) will spawn all at once.

    • 4,550,000 EXP (before 4x rate)
    • Buffed Red Nirg can deal almost 7k damage physical damage
    • Unique attacks: Summons Windraiders/Stormbreakers/Nightshadows/Fire Brands/Grimson Guardians, +200 Attack Up buff, Super Knock-Back

    Margana (Mage)

    • 200,000,000 HP
    • 4,300,000 EXP (before 4x rate)
    • Can cast Zombify (Healers do not heal while Margana is alive!)
    • Unique attacks: Recover 500,000 HP, Summon Dark Menrir, Poison Cloud
    • Strong against, Ice, Lightning, Fire
    • Immune against Holy, Heal

    Rellik (Archer)

    • 231,000,000 HP
    • 4,450,000 EXP (before 4x rate)
    • Can cast Stun, Poison, Seal
    • Unique attacks: 1/1, Super Knock-Back, Summon Black Bird
    • Weak against Fire
    • Immune against Holy, Heal

    Hsalf (Thief)

    • 233,000,000 HP
    • 4,510,000 EXP (before 4x rate)
    • Weak against Ice
    • Immune against Holy, Heal
    • Unique attacks: Haste, Shadow Meso Explosion
    Strategy (Additional Information/Tips)

    The diagram above shows the starting position. Before the Guardians are down attackers should already take their positions (espesially if you got low HP).

    Rusher(s) will be left at bottom while the others position themselves on the middle platform, towards the Right side.

    Margana will spawn in the center of middle platform so it can be pinned to Left side while the right side remains Safe for Players who can't survive.
    Margana can cast zombify so healers should not heal while Margana is alive.

    For looters who are not attending the fight there are safe spots by the Statues towards the Top Right side of the map (as shown on Diagram)

    Strategy 1 - Killing Hsalf, Red Nirg & Rellik Individually

    While others are killing Margana, the rusher(s) role would to separate the Bosses below. One rusher takes Rellik and Red Nirg to one corner while the other Rusher takes Hsalf to the opposite corner. Once Margana is dead attackers will target Hsalf first. After that the Rusher(2) will separate the last 2 bosses. Attackers will kill Red Nirg first. Be careful, if Red Nirg is buffed it can deal up to 7k melee damage. After Red Nirg, the last Boss Rellik, will be attempted. Rellik would probably be the hardest of all four; it can cast, Seal, Stun and Poison combined with 1/1 attacks. Use All Cure Potions as quickly as you can and not be dependent on Priest/Bishop's Dispel.

    Strategy 2 - Killing Hsalf, Red Nirg & Rellik Together

    If party feels comfortable enough, the 3 Bosses can be rushed into the same corner and kept there. After Margana is killed rest of the attackers will head to the group of 3 and kill them all at once. If you're planning on this I'd suggest to stock up more All Cure Potions (they curse a lot!)

    Each Boss drops 1 Mark of Naricain pendant.

    A player can hold only one Pendant.

    Note: There is no confirmation/official-word on whether or not we will have Mark of Naricain at its original Stats/Drop-rate for now. This thread will be updated when CWKPQ releases.

    After all 4 Bosses are dead, everyone would head towards the right sight of the map into the door. Usually the Expedition waits for everyone to be there first before everyone enters at same time and walks to the right to enter another portal which will leads to the Bonus Room. Inside the room there are lots of Treasure Chests that drop various Rewards.

    About the guide itself, I'm not playing Royals anymore so I cannot update guide on my own anymore. Did it even get released yet with the new source?

    Anyways I'm lurking these forums every now and then so... Keep me updated if anything is works differently and I'll update the guide :]

    A bit of extra info on the test of Agility, the pillars will drop you down to exactly 100 hp, and if you have less than or equal to 100 hp you will die if hit again. So you can actually heal yourself with a red potion if you wanted to in order to live, in fact I would suggest it to not waste you better potions since you WILL get hit quite a bit, also, any players are able to go through the portal, even the same player can twice. This means that if for whatever reason the warrior/archer (people who don't go high up for their sigils) don't go through with the JQ, or someone ends up dying, another player can take their place, even if that person has gone through the portal once before. In addition, some little trick to make things easier, right above where you have "mage" listed on the map, a magician can actually use teleport to teleport into that wall, and then teleport into the portal's area saving them time and a bit of hassle (Not 100% sure if this is in this version).

    Also, you don't actually need 10 players for cwkpq, you just need 10 players to sign up for the PQ. This means if you can have mules for lesser used or less important classes (pirate, archer, mage, etc etc) to sign up in addition to the other person of the same class who stays in the PQ, log onto your main, and you can start the PQ as normal with a minimum of 5 players, though this does increase the risk since if one player dies/DCs that's the end of the run unless you're at the end. Even with those risks though, that hasn't stopped me from duoing CWKPQ with a friend many times a long time ago in GMS.

    I'm bumping this becasue it's the best guide I've found here and everyone should read it. Some things are incorrect since there has been adjustments to this PQ in Royals. I don't know if the author is active and will ever edit this post, but I hope so. If not, I can at least try to point out the things I've found to be different;
    These pillars do not hit 99% of your MaxHP, but rather 99% of your actual HP (or something similar). As long as you heal with any potion (I haven't tried anything lower than White Potion - 300 HP) you're safe taking a hit from these. I have Achilles on my character (15% damage reduction), however. No need to take any risks, but I believe anyone should be safe using their regular potions on Pet Auto Pot. No need for Power Elixirs or juicy stuff.

    Well obviously, it's finally here. Yippie!

    Not only the Expedition leader, but every party member needs to have completed the pre-quests (which meanins holding a Crimsonwood Keystone in your Set-Up inventory)

    Nothing has changed here. I'm just pointing it out because I can't stress enough the need for haste. If you're a Thief, your job is to haste your party members.

    I don't think this is important in Royals. I have not tried all 5 NPCs, but at least the Warrior NPC gives you a warning if you have full Etc. inventory. Just drop something and click again.

    The Crimson Guardians in this rooms need to be killed.

    The Stats of Mark of Naricain in Royals is as follows:
    STR: 5 (4~11)?
    DEX: 5 (4~11)?

    LUK: 5 (4~11)?
    HP: 300 (290~?)
    MP: 300 (290~?)

    Number of Upgrades Available: 0

    5 Marks of Naricain will drop in each PQ. One from each boss (Royals has a 5th Grandmaster known as Master Gawyllacs)
