Is the 2nd method of HP washing for Archer still applicable in the new source? 1) Reset 1 from main stat to add into HP to enable adding of HP. 2) Reset 1 from MP, add it into HP Repeat step 2 until last AP Reset, then reset 1 from HP and add back into main stat.
This guide has not been updated in a long time and the author is no longer active. All stats are subject to change.
Could someone clarify this for me. Wouldn't mp washing increase the overall cost since you are using an ap reset everytime you put a level up AP into mp? This seems like a quicker way to reach your mp goal so that you can wash out your base int and actually kill things earlier, or a way for someone to accumulate a lot of extra mp if they start washing at too high of a level.
It does cost more, since you have to add fresh AP to MP and reset it to your stats. There may be a point where MP washing is more efficient than just having a BUNCH of INT equips which can be costly, but that's math best saved for another time. It does save a lot of time though, I had all the MP I needed for 30k HP on my warrior before 90, thanks to a ton of base INT, and a bunch of MP washing + leveling with a decent amount of INT equips.
Can a thief NOT do mp washing but achieve enough HP to horntail at level 155? I currently have a thief with INT (raw+eq) 110 at level 50, by using the HP washing calculator, it seems to be able to hit my target HP at level 155, if so, MP washing is not neccessary right? since im on budget
Where can I find the base values? Such as how much MP a bowman has at lv155 or how much MP you get per levelup?
I'm sorry, my english not Good. But I don't add AB to HP or MP? MP 170 > MP min Warior (4 x 14 + 56) =112 Why? Please Help me. Tks U
As a warrior, use AP reset, -MP and + HP directly Your minimum MP is 112 at your current level, but you have 170, meaning you can have enough extra MP to be washed to HP. *BUT only start washing after 2nd job, that way you gain more HP. (Need someone to verify this, im lazy to check back on HP washing guide)
How up to date is this guide? Do pages/paladin's need to wash? I'm thinking of making one and want to know before hand. I want to be able to fight all bosses, if that helps.
I haven't read through most the 13 page comments but from what I've tested you get more HP if you use method 1 as a Slinger and Spearman. (Talking about regular HP washing not MP washing) Spearman got a minimum of least 62 ea wash (range/avg is higher), whilst method 2 apparently only gives 50-55 so method 1 definitely better. Slinger got a nice range from 22-27 per wash using method 1 instead of static 20 using method 2. Very confusing as the guide states that it's beneficial to use method 1 only if you're a thief but obviously this isn't the case, a warrior and pirate got more HP using method 1. I've yet to test an archer but I doubt it will get less from using method 1. I'm not bashing this guide or anything, I'm just reporting my findings here, and hoping someone else can at least confirm some numbers somehow.
@Gossamer Currently i'm playing 74lvl outlaw with hp: 2875 and mp: 2215 without any wash. Is my character possible to achieve 7.6k hp at 155lvl-165lvl ? In an addition, i'm having +80 int gear ( including the 4 base int ). I don't really feel like remake a new character. p/s : should i hit 9k hp to survive from horntail or 7.6k will do?
I like this guide overall, and it has a lot of good information. But I really don't like the above part of the introduction. The wording is exaggerated. In fact, it's an abuse of the word "need". Spearmen definitely does not "need" to wash "in order to play MapleRoyals". This assumes that the ONLY goal of MapleRoyals is to, say... be able to take 3 hits from Bigfoot in Lv.120. As soon as anyone states "The goal of life is ..." people not agreeing with this will get upset and argue against it. In the same way, I feel it's not nice to state that MapleRoyals has a certain goal. People play this game for different reasons. So, I guess my conclusion is: It's not necessary to HP wash a Spearman. You can train with Berserk at all times from Lv.121, if you want. HP Washing will make it more comfortable so that it requires less skillzz and attention. I can say this out of experience as a Dark Knight (back in GMS I didn't spend real life currency to wash my Dark Knight). What is true for Assassins, Archers and Gunslinger I cannot say out of experience, but for sure there's no need to HP wash unless you want to do some of the things stated in the guide (be able to take a hit from HT without HB at a certain level, for example). MapleRoyals is not a closed community where people are only welcome if they decide to play the game in a certain way. I have no authority to state what I just did, but until some administrator says otherwise, I guess it's safe to assume that you are allowed to play the game even without HP washing.
im about to drop 116 luk into int and mp wash my 177 Nightlord next level . HP is 7919 goal is 10k+ idk if thats useful for ya
"This process is able to use 5 AP Resets per level up to add more Extra MaxMP to your character. Use as many resets as you need to in order to accumulate enough MP to wash your character to 9000HP." the minimum hp for NL is 9800 not 9000 i thought?? change my mind?
i guess its to late for a lvl 54 Hunter to add some base INT for a good amount of hp? xP since lvl 25 i wear +58 Int Gear with every lvl up
Brand new player here (at least to Royals, been playing GMS since '06). Have a level 42 Spearman but no funding at all. Is it worth it to get to 30 int with my AP points and then just reset them later on? Obviously better to do that ASAP rather then later. Also I'd be wore then willing to help out getting minimum MP values!
