Say, you magically got teleported to the Maple World and you are free to go and do anything you wanted, what map/area would you pick to build a home where you can live your life there and why? For me... Spoiler Sleepywood living in a deep dark dank humid forest sounds kinda comfy ngl Florina Beach who doesnt want to live near a beach (a lot really bc it can be hot), the breeze and the view itself is already a nice thing El Nath i could just move to any country with cold climate irl but, hey, its comfy. snow is comfy. Ludibrium there's something about living in a town build on legos and toy bricks, it's like a child dream comes true and the whole town seems playful af so Ellinia town of magicians and fairies holds a special place in my heart, it feels so calm and peaceful, even though verticality wise can be a pain in the butt Ellodin literally the same as Ellinia, just less verticality and more blueish and comfy
As Henesys music has an odd calming effect on me, I'd probably would be sitting on my chair in hene, being mindful af the rest of my life. Sounds pretty freaking awesome.
I grew up in a small seaside town, and still find the beach and surrounding areas to be the most tranquil. So it would have to be Lith Harbor for me. Plus, no big and scary monsters to worry about.
Anywhere that isn't Ellinia or Perion. I can't be bothered to climb the stairs or rocks just to get to my house. Maybe Showa.
Beatuiful pictures! If it wasn't real, I would choose a small hut in Herb Town. But as I know how nasty rain forests turn out to be in reality (mosssieesss and sneks everywhere), I would probably choose Lith Harbour. What a beautiful and relaxing town. But there is many beautiful places in Maple, I could probably name more than a dozen maps that I would love to live in. OP mentionned quite a few of them already.
I feel like I'd get mauled by a wolf in El Nath and in Orbis I'd fall to my death going to buy cola. If possible I'd just go to one of those castles around GPQ, clear it out and make it fort Inusama.
Florida all the way...the most dangerous things are crabs, turtles and monkeys....yes theres a giant crab outhere, but if u dont annoy him he wont even wake up...
Perion: Too hot and dry. Kerning City: Too many shady people. Ellinia: I'm afraid of heights. Henesys: Maya is coughing for a suspiciously long time. Sleepywood: Humidity, there is no taxi to bring me out. Florida Beach: Sand gets everywhere, like everywhere. Ludibrium: Stepping on a Lego brick is one of the worst pain imaginable, now the whole town is made out of Lego? No thanks. Probably Zipangu, it has great food and it looks quiet.
I'll dwell myself in Korean Folk Town, end up become one of the NPC, and you're gonna do quests that related to my story.
Man this is a great thread. Top 3 for me would be Perion - Living in the mountains meditating Henesys - Tranquil, good vibes and vibrant small town vibes Ludibrium - It's like Disneyland where it's a bunch of inorganic, fake non-living things occupying the space/scenario but it's colorful and fun. Would probably get annoying after some time though.
Taiwan Night Market because it reminds me of the good times when we could travel without restrictions and enjoy amazing food from other countries around the world! Street food hits differently. pls add
Surprised no one said Maple Island. Living in Amherst would be the most chill life ever. You're in a floating island in the sky with no danger around and without care about the rest of the world's troubles. Kind of like New Zealand in real life except better.
All the ones you said are beautiful and would be my picks also, but I've asked myself and my friends this question many times before and my answer will always be Sleepywood.
I’d live deep inside the clocktower. How safe would I be with gatekeepers protecting me! Plus, the bgm reminds me so much of my childhood, I’ve been there first time in 2007 gms. I was 12! I’m 25 now. lol I love this game.
In-universe, Showa Town is probably the worst place to live in because of all the criminal activity. And unlike Kerning City, it doesn't enjoy the benefits of modern technology. That said, I am a massive weeb so I would probably choose to live there anyways.
