If you believe a glitch should be added here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/glitch-abuse.186416/, please reply to this thread with the following format: What is it: The act of performing Meso Explosion, against a monster or boss, where the mesos do not explode (the exploding animation does not occur and the mesos do not disappear after skill is activated). Using Meso Explosion on the same set of mesos multiple times is considered glitch abuse. How to avoid it: Immediately pick up some of the mesos to stop the glitch.
I saw someone using hack at - Thailand Deep jungle not sure if it should be posted here, however i just re-downloaded MR few hours ago, and his IGN: Unchire What is it: using hack to appeal the monsters, and whenever i meet this guy he'll immediately change channel How to avoid it: dont use hack ==
Hello! Welcome aboard! Please report here in the future for faster processing! Hacking is considered as major infraction so it will be a permanent ban instead of a glitch abuse
I saw him when travel in Shanghai. It's like he is using program to mop all monsters in the map and training. Thank you.
Like Kenny said, this thread is NOT where you report hackers. We have a separate part of the forums for that: https://royals.ms/forum/forums/report-abuse.107/ This thread is for glitches you find in the game, not hackers
Hi, I've discovered an egg pq bug that I think is pretty big. I don't want to share it here in case people exploit it against unknowing opponents. Is there a private bug abuse forum I could post in?
Now that hurricane alt+tab has been disabled, perhaps time to remove it from the glitch abuse thread?
Sometimes buffs get stuck permanently until you CC or randomly stops. Would it be considered glitch abuse to not cancel the buffs?
Just to add on to this, in the June 2021 GM Blog under "Server-side bugs vs. Client-side bugs", this was mentioned as a client bug (from my interpretation at least.) I would assume, fundamentally, that if one knowingly reaps benefits from leaving the buffs active, it is abuse. I too would like a clarification to be made.
It isn't a client bug, since it applies on the server. For ex: if I got SE thats 'stuck' and i go kill a mob and I do crit dmg, the server and other players around me can see that I did the crit dmg, so its server side issue. Moreover, I'm pretty sure it happens from lag, like a 'request timeout' from the client to the server.
Yes, it will be considered glitch abuse if one is intentionally abusing the indefinite buff duration. Please restart the game if such glitch is happening! iirc, the server is indeed resetting the buffs but for some reason, the client just doesn't remove it
What is it: I recently discovered that the Coffin Dance glitch, while currently labeled harmless, may have potential to be abused when multiclienting while farming on flat maps with a summon which attacks for you. Example: farming heartstoppers and open multiple clients, each in a different channel, and each with a summon active. Coffin Dance glitch can be used to walk all the characters around the map simultaneously to get better coverage of the mobs that spawn at random locations on the map which are normally out of reach of the summon, which I estimate to approximately double the effectiveness of semi-afk farming. I did not observe any specific player performing this glitch but I discovered it accidentally while farming stoppers myself. I did not abuse the glitch (it's impossible for me because I only have one character which can create a summon), but I can see how this might be abused by a hypothetical player with access to multiple summons. How to avoid it: No idea other than to patch the entire Coffin Dance glitch, or to just not do it. On an unrelated note, I am very curious about why the Coffin Dance glitch exists in the first place. What is the underlying code that causes it to happen? I cannot think of any reason for specifically the left/right arrow keys and only those keys to 'leak' onto another client window.
Every character are in different position. It won't have better coverage because some of them will hit the wall and others won't. Placing characters in the middle every 2:50 mins probably is still better than doing this coffin dance glitch.
The best way i can think to abuse the glitch is to have many characters do the zak jump quest together.
