FYI there are several hoodoo/voodoo channels available right now... It's all fair competition. Would you be just as frustrated if you couldn't get a map because 20 different players were occupying each channel? You might then say that it's not fair that there's only 20 of the most optimal map when there are 1k players online. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. I don't think it's anywhere near an imbalance. It's not like the map is occupied 24/7. You just happen to be checking at the very active times.
my intent for what i was going to use the map for is irrelevant in regards to not being able to get a map; this time it was cards for my BM, next time it might be gathering stoppers; regardless, it's impossible to get a map. again it's just to provide context to how i got to my statement. not the actual problem itself. furthermore you raise a few valid points Saledor, i just simply disagree for the most part. I still think giving me shit for trying to get a 'spot in line' is a dick move. As opposed to AshPile; i think you missed the point. You're intent from your original post is trying to gain sympathy for yourself and attempt to shame the stopper mapowner. We are giving you shit disagreeing with you and calling you out for trying to change the rules in your favor and paint the picture as the mapowner being a dick, when they followed the rules and got mapowner for 9 clients while you're acting entitled because you're unable to secure one. Obviously it's possible to get a map, you're just upset you're unable to do so in your convenience.
Again there's SEVERAL channels available as we speak. I counted 14/20 with no mapowner. Still impossible?

well idk at the end of the day i just feel like this game mechanic had implications on me progressing and having fun today and all i have heard in return was to either suck it up or work around it, which was not my point of making this thread at all. i agree that it is not going anywhere tho as i appear to be the only one thinking this way. feel free to lock it
Walou, this is Miaaaaz. First of all, I want to say sorry to you. Earlier today, I was farming stoppers in ch7 and I didn't know that I need to keep mapowner to keep the map because I thought as long as I have my bahamut on and my drops haven't disappeared then I have the map (that's also the way I used to decide whether I can take other people's map, I check if they are attacking or if their creatures are attacking, if not, I check if there are unpicked drops, if there are, I would wait until all drops disappear) -- apparently, I am a noob lol because that's not how it works. So when you came in the map, attacked, claimed the mapowner and asked me to cc, I was mad because I was there first and I didn't know you are using a legit way to grab the map, so I said screw you and refused to leave, and for that, I apologize to you. However, after our argument, I checked channel 20, 19, 18, 17, 16 and they were all open, so I don't why we were fighting over ch7 lol
