HPQ is one of the few PQs that didn't have a level ceiling in the original game, and skills after first job were allowed. You can see Thunderbolt and Arrow Bomb being used in this video: Right now, all 2nd job and after skills are blocked in Royals, so the only AOE available is... Slash Blast. Needless to say, the PQ is now unnecessarily annoying for no reason especially since the rewards suck anyway. Also there's a glitch where if you enter Pig Town before leaving, you only get one Token of Teamwork instead of two. I know nobody does this PQ but I'm grinding Tokens and sometimes use it instead of Orbis etc. ok
I’d say that this PQ is really quick and easy to run and considering it only gives 2 tokens and can be completed in 5-8 minutes I think it’s a fair trade off. If you have a character that can throw stars this is super easy. Also, to keep in mind that tokens could be utilized for more useful things in the future such as more valuable cosmetics or even HP increases (?!) which has been suggested, I don’t think the difficulty needs to be lowered.
Thanks for your response. Since the PQ had no restrictions in the 'original', one could say its current difficulty is artificially and possibly unintentionally inflated as a result of it being lumped with the originally level-locked PQs. If it was a 10-29 PQ originally, there would be no argument from my end. People will still use zombie teeth for those levels, the rice cake hat is completely useless, and tokens of teamwork have a daily cap, so the impact of letting users ulti (actually even 2nd job skills are a big help already) the monsters is minimal. It's not like KPQ where you can solo re-run for 2-stat or godly (good luck...) shoes, LPQ with varying stat glasses, etc. Better rewards in the pool are most welcome but they'd probably cost hundreds of tokens anyway: 6 tokens a day made less annoying are not much especially since gathering multiple human beings for PQs is a pain and only KPQ and HPQ can be soloed without driving yourself nuts. For the record I've learned to sync the monster kills on a magician character to solo HPQ with decent success, but it's just an added annoyance especially a monster dips too low for magic claw
Here's how I do it. Just draw mob aggro to one spot with a wepaon with low att, then afk and collect the etc
Thanks for this. I was aware of this strategy but your post inspired me to make a mule of my own. I still think the restrictions are misplaced, but based on the lack of support in this thread I suppose they'll remain.
Sorry to tell you, but there are currently indeed no plans to lift these restrictions. Since the thread didn’t get much support I’ll shift it to closed. Thanks for the feedback tho!
