Perfect clean kanzir scam

Hello! Yesterday I gached a 110 att kanzir and was contacted by @NANI1 instantly wanting to buy it. I mentioned I had no clue how much it goes for which I found out later that it's around 6-7 bill. Without offering advice he low balled me 500m for it and I sold it to them without knowing I was getting tricked. I just got back into this game since 2017 and don't know much about prices and what not. I've messaged @NANI1 directly in game and on forums but seems to be ignoring me.

Hello here is the screenshot of you willing to sell me the kanzir for my offer of 500m.

I then went to the fm on my other character to trade you for the dagger. There was no tricks I paid you the exact amount you were asking for.

 

I'm pretty sure this discussion overall isn't going to be very productive, but if you just came back after a 5 year hiatus you might be able to agree that it would've been smart to take a few days extra to figure out the value of your item.. I'm not going to chime in on who I think is in the 'right' or 'wrong' here but I do want to point that out.

 

People complain that there is not enough playerbase in Royals and yet people shield an old player ripping off newbie. How pathetic and hypocritic.

 

Yes how is my purchase any different from other people buying low and selling it for higher. Orestore buys their ores for cheap prices as the picture below

Sells them for higher price in their store

Yet they get so much love for merching

 

This is definitely not a scam by definition, but there's a lot to be said about ethics in my honest opinion.
1. The seller should've taken his time to P/C
2. The buyer should never take advantage of players who don't know better, there are decent ways to make money and this is not one of them.

It's obviously OK to merch off players, but theres a line that was crossed, this is way too low and as you can clearly see the seller feels like he was taken advantage of.
I'd understand if it was bought for 4-5b tho, that would be a reasonable offer in order to merch and still make decent profit.

That's just my opinion, no rules were broken and it's allowed, but it does leave a sour feeling seeing this, especially because it will most likely force the player out of the server again.

i wouldn't say jason is an "old player" when kyndrix has been on the forums since 2015 and jason started with me in 2020

but this is completely besides the point

yes it will leave the returning player with a bad feeling and will potentially make them want to quit / leave, no there were no rules broken, no it was not a scam

in my opinion, whenever I drop/gachapon an item, I always check its value before taking any kind of action, it's simple

 

wouldn't consider it a scam, you just didn't do your research before hand.

 

I dont't think Jason would ever get merched for that amount.

I never said nani scammed Kyndrix nor i accused him doing any bannable offense.
I just thought it was funny how some people who seemed to be so "concerned" about the server say it is ok to rip off so much from returning player.

1. Nani clearly knew item was worth 6-7b
2. Kyndrix made it clear that he did not know how much this was worth
3. Nani offered 0.5b clearly knowing all of the above.

Yeah Kyndrix should have checked before selling anything, but as a returning casual player, who could have imagined if an item can cost that much?

Yeah sure you did not scam anyone, and I wouldnt have said any shit if Nani offered 5b or whatever.

But dude, have some conscience.

@NANI1 out of pure curiosity, all semantics of "scamming" aside, are you at least willing to acknowledge that this was shitty behavior? And it's not a rhetorical question--you can say no.
