Some people might not run into this problem but figured I'd give it a try. Limit looting the etcs from the ring quest to only the amount you need. For example you need 10 Old Tree Branch Of The Wise One, so make it impossible to loot 11. I am farming these rings on 5 characters, it pains me to see one char with 15 Tree Branches but another with only 2. Edit: Also make administrator a little more accessible.
Thiiis. Honestly just make it stop dropping once you have what you need. And the tree branch drop rate is way lower than the cat eye
frankly, i don't see the point in the quest eating up all your quest items to begin with, just have the quest take the exact amount it needs from you (10/20/30), so we won't feel like idiots when we get one etc more than the other. This would open up the possibility to prefarm, and i don't see an issue with that either, cause you basically interact with the event the same amount of time regardless of if you prefarm or not.
Not sure if I agree or disagree but I think it'll be harder to pass than the proposed idea. Also it's like would you rather a player be on 1 hour everyday or 10 hours one day type of situation.
You would have to add and delete for every account every time you do the quest. Honestly its a lot of work on 5 accounts.
can consider manual looting instead of relying on ur pet also if ur hv 15 on 1 char n 2 on another, maybe consider switching chars to loot when u max out on the 1st one instead. im doing on 7 chars n i dont rly think its tat big a deal to pick up the items with another char since ultimately they will still nid to get them anyways. n btw using a mage with both quests active n item ignore pendant does help a lot since u can see where the etc are all at so u wont be just blindly picking up everything n overlooting
Think of how many people it could help this event. Then, think of how many people it will help next years event, and the year after that, after that, and so on. I read they made good changes to the anniversary event to make it more enjoyable, such as more frequent maple tree explosions, this could be another case of making an event more enjoyable. Can you tell me where you are farming? I am at henesyss hunting ground 1 and lots of random etc drops making it hard to see, I think for now I will just use item ignore whenever one etc is done.
hhg2. my bs has 3 pets which clears out most of the trash. i item ignore all 6 of the etcs. the ancient strength ring etcs n feathers r pretty obvious to see. only one difficult is the tree branch but with item ignore n the fact that stumps r only on the top 2 lanes, its pretty easy to identify the ones for the quest rather than the common etc. my priority is doing my other chars 1st rather than my bs since its the one farming. manual looting is also not a big deal since im gonna be clearing out the trash anyways.
Interesting I do it differently, I ignore the 3 str etcs on both bishops and all trash etcs on all accounts, and let the pets naturally pick up mage etcs on the bishops. After a couple minutes of genning I run around on one account at a time until its finished its quest, the bishops go last, the only account picking up both ring etcs is the shad. Once the bishops are done I take off their pet loot. I used to pick up trash etc but god damn its annoying clearing all that out. Edit: Also I never let my bm/pally accept the mage ring quest, so they can never pick up the etcs anyways.
