That was my bad, can confirm this was changed to allow beginners to do the quest in the Anniversary update.
thanks Inu-sama! iv'e got the medal with lots of your suppport. btw, idk if it's hidden, but Muirhat has like 5 quests after you activate the hidden one. it's to kill 100 of each golem, white dark and mixed, and then to kill skeletion zombies and finally to kill drakes and ice drakes.
Yes, that quest is first initiated by clicking on the trash can in that same map, and giving him the crumpled letter, which is hidden [no quest indicator]
A question I'm starting to have is if its possible to get the Quest Virtuoso medal without doing the hidden/missable quests. The guide says its possible to do and get 800 but with the new 1000 goal I wonder if that still holds true?
It is 100% doable to do without the missable ones. But it will require you to do more balls to the wall crazy quests to get it. I got it while missing like half of the missables, but I also got to a high lvl which unlocked many questlines, and did some REALLY DUMB QUESTLINES ON THE WAY... So don't worry about it if you missed them, but keep in mind you'll pay for that later lol
rip looks like I'll be paying for that now then LOL I'm at 905 quests and looking at the list I seemed to miss around 90% of the missable ones

I don't know what you've done so I can't really. I suppose if possible avoid the design a questline in Showa that involves killing those annoying Showa bosses, 1k drum bunnies and the alternative Zak questline if possible.
I mean , do you have a list of few clicks talking quest lines , a thing that can count me more quests in a shorter period of time?
You won't complete the virtuoso medal with that kind of attitude lol. Virtuoso requires you to finish almost all the quests in the game (like, at least 95% of them) , you can't be picky. Its more about "which few quests i skip?" than "which quests should i do?"
Lol , I love playing maplestory and exploring maps / doing quests and spend alot of hours in the game But at my age I don’t have enough free time - I am a high tech student and I spend my extra free time on mapling and buying stocks at the capital market, So a good idea to make my time more efficient will be blessed.
Hey guys, do you think it's still possible to gain the Virtuoso medal when you start questing lvl 120+? Or did I miss out too many quests (Maple Island, level restriction)?
Definitely possible, I pretty much missed out on all the level restricted quests except for one or 2, almost all the replacement items quests, and missed out on 3-5 maple island quests and managed to still get the medal and still have about 30 quests undone.
Cool! That's really motivating. Btw. anyone else bothered by the fact the quest specialist medal doesn't have HP/MP stats? Why not giving it at least 200 HP/MP, like the 120 medal?
It does give hp/mp; it was recently added in the last patch. 150 hp/mp for Specialist and 300 hp/mp for Virtuoso
