I think we having too few guild emblem atm , hard to pick one that really nice. if we can self design or get more guild embelms in game might be cool for ex
If I were to work on guild emblems, what kind of emblem would you guys want to see, by the way? Do you guys fancy some Maplestory themed emblems? Or are you nostalgic enough on classic GMS that you want people to know what world you used to play in? Or maybe, you're not from GMS but from MSEA instead? Or maybe you fancy some of these icons? Or moai head, because why not? Spoiler: Some examples?
Supportive of more emblem choices, such as the original maple worlds/servers icon Would also be nice if there are a wider choice of selections for shapes that are not available in Royals yet Felt kinda restricted by the current choices However, I am not supportive of players being able to upload their own guild emblem images since it may cause more moderation for the Staff such as a dick image or Nazi symbol being used for the guild emblem May also cause disputes/conflicts when a player's real-life image is being used ^ just examples of the guild emblem being abused in unintended ways
Not sure what you mean... If the Staff holds a Guild Emblem Event, then they (and us) can easily see which created emblem design is trouble and others legit
Self designs are probably going to be problematic [unless in an event where staff screen and judge the suggestions] But 100% we need more designs!
Referring to a system where players are able to upload any images without restrictions In the situation if a guild emblem contest or competition is held, the emblem/logo would be approved by Staff before adding into the game so there shouldn't be much issues with that
My dude, Staff will never have the ability to implement a custom emblem system where you can upload an image. The pre-bb Maplestory client is too old without it breaking the game. If this was a custom rebuilt server, then I'd agree with you but there's just no way for them to do this and is a complete waste of resources vs manually uploading it themselves (where they can see and review the emblems).
Currently we have no plans to add more guild emblems. Maybe once we caught up on other changes we want to make we can reconsider this. Nevertheless thanks for your feedback!
