How can I get the Lord Pirate's Hat?

I know you supposedly got that from the Lord Pirate PQ in Herb Town.
I've done the PQ multiple times and yet to understand how to get that hat

 

When u complete the pq the last npc will show u how many times u done the pq. First hat need 10 then 20, 30, 50 pqs

 

Zakum helm / targa helm is better. Forget that old ugly pirate hat mate.

 

That's not an answer to the OP's question. Also, the lord pirate hat got patched and can get up to +15 all clean now, which is the average stats of a zakum helmet. Still not as good as it has lesser upgrade slots, but not extremely far behind.

Also, if the guy doesn't say anything whether you completed 10,20,30… i believe you already have the 50 one (acceptable lord pirate hat) in your inventory and you can only get again if you drop the previous one. Correct me if im wrong!

 

Can you explain it a bit more regarding the +15 hat?
Is it by chance or is it as long as you complete the 10, 20 ~ 50 then we'd get a +15 hat?
If the 15+ hat is by chance, do we have to do what @Wonderstruck is saying, drop it, and start all over again from 10, 20 to 50?

 

After 50 PPQs you’ll be able to obtain your „Acceptable Lord Pirate Hat“ which is 13~15 Str/Dex/Int/Luk and has 7 slots.
You can buy specific scrolls for the Pirate Hats with Tokens of Teamwork (10) which have a 60% success rate and add 3 Str or Dex or Int or Luk, depending on which you use, if they pass.

 

Is the hat re-obtainable if I dropped it?
