Update Update #87 26/10/23

Hi Royallers,

New files are required for this update! Click here to go to the downloads page to download and install the new setup. You can choose between a setup using .wz files or .img files, as some users may experience fewer crashing issues with one over the other.

Update on crashing issue:
Unfortunately we have been struggling to identify a fix for the crashing issue which arose in Update 86. We are still working towards a fix, however for the time being we have made the decision to use an older version of our client's .dll. This means that the client changes from Update 86 will be reverted. Below is a list of the reverted changes:

• Player speed affecting climb speed.
• Legendary spirit confirmation prompt.
• Event quests not counting towards Quest Specialist or Quest Virtuoso quest count.
• Party related commands /lp, /pi,/pe, /pa and /pd.

Events:

• 26th October to 22nd November:
  • Halloween Event has started (click here for more information).
  • +20% bonus EXP/Drop/Meso Event.
• 26th October to 22nd November:
  • Halloween forum event has started (click here for more information)

Expedition:

• Von Leon:
  • Von Leon phase 1 HP reduced from 1.5b to 1b.
  • Von Leon phase 2 HP reduced from 1.5b to 1.25b.
  • Von Leon phase 3 HP reduced from 2b to 1.75b.
  • Gargoyle summon HP reduced from 30m to 25m.
  • Mini Golem summon HP reduced from 6m to 5m.
  • Undefeated Mini Golem heal reduced from 30m to 25m.
  • Jail mechanic warps 40% of players instead of 50%.

Party Quest:

• Amoria PQ:
  • Stage 2 - Heart Strings can now be completed with 5 players by using newly added cloud megaphone NPCs in the map.
  • Stage 5 - Fluttering Hearts now requires all party members to reach the end.
  • Stage 7 - Amos' Vault now spawns players on separate spawn points.
• Ariant PQ:
  • Upper level restriction has been removed.
  • Skills can no longer be used in the map.
  • Scorpion HP reduced to 30, with fixed damage of 10.
• Ludibrium PQ:
  • Required players changed from 6 to 5-6.
• Ludbrium Maze PQ:
  • Eos Rock Scrolls have been added to the rewards.
• Orbis PQ:
  • Required players changed from 6 to 5-6.
  • Orbis Rock Scrolls have been added to the rewards.
• Monster Carnival 1:
  • Toy Trojans are now weak to fire.

PQ rewards:

• The following rewards have received changes:

New scrolls for some of these have been added to NPC Cody for Token of Teamwork exchanging (see below)!

Item:

• Thorny Chair is now untradeable as originally intended.

Quest:

• The Queen's Bouquet is now immediately repeatable rather than daily, fixing an issue where handing in a quest from a previous day would cause the player not to be able to enter the Rose Garden.

NPC:

• NPC Cecilia at Gardener's Spot now offers an exchange for Shiny Flower Powders in return for Shiny Onyx Apple or Ifia's Ring Box.
• Fixed an issue at NPC Vogen in El Nath Market where certain items were not correctly removed from the player when exchanging for Von Leon projectiles.
• Fixed an error affecting NPC Mystic Scroll in Lounge after attempting Vergamot.
• Added Rose Garden to NPC Mystic Scroll in Lounge..
• The following items have been removed from NPC Luden's rewards in Fourth Tower:
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for DEX 10%.
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for DEX 30%.
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for DEX 60%.
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for DEX 70%.
  • Scroll for Eye Accessory for INT 10%.
  • Scroll for Eye Accessory for INT 10%.
• New rewards added to NPC Cody for Token of Teamwork exchanging:
  • Lith Harbor Chair.
  • Perion Chair.
  • Ellinia Chair.
  • Henesys Chair.
  • Kerning City Chair.

  • Scroll for Lord Pirate Hat for STR (60% + 3 STR).
  • Scroll for Lord Pirate Hat for DEX (60% + 3 DEX).
  • Scroll for Lord Pirate Hat for INT (60% + 3 INT).
  • Scroll for Lord Pirate Hat for LUK (60% + 3 LUK).

Mob:

• Drop rates of the following items from Vergamot have been increased:
  • Scroll for Eye Accessory for STR 60%.
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for DEX 60%.
• Drop rates of the following items from Nibergen have been increased:
  • Scroll for Eye Accessory for DEX 60%.
  • Scroll for Face Accessory for INT 60%.
• Drop rates of the following items from Nameless Magic Monster have been increased:
  • Scroll for Eye Accessory for INT 60%.
