Due to my own experience in game I can actaully feel your unpleasantness when you got a single "cc pls" despite salvaging someone's 32b prefect weawpon. (Based on the screenshot you actually tried to talk to that person actively from your side at the beginning)

However neither is 29b a proper "punishment" to a maybe-not-so-polite contextless "cc pls". If you really want to give a "punishment" or "risk of drop trading" to that person it could be better if you charge 300m or 500m or whatever meso you think you could've earned through the 10 mins waiting plus the time you spent on asking for advice & making a report.

 

It was during April, the time when rose garden was OP and channels were highly contested, so "cc pls" in rose garden maps was a very common thing.

A bit off topic here but cancel culture isn’t even a real thing if you think deeply enough about the cases when it is applied. It is a buzzword invented by far from innocent people who got away with the most horrendous shit for a while, and when the consequences of their actions eventually catch up to them and they are asked to explain their nonsense, they cry out “cancel culture” and worse, made an entire planet believe it even exists in the first place. Just something unrelated to make you guys think.

I just don't get how one just simply random CC to find a 32b item on the ground.
Your whole story from start is suspicious since your SS provides zero detail in time passing.
Also, what is more likely is that you know said player does this.
Only probable outcome you know the player muling this way and you've been on the lookout.

Of course people drop stuff and you can take it and move along.
I get your story later when you SS it and send to Tim for confirmation, but why not wait awhile before selling? Why even pm the owner? Why not sell it on a mule and never tell anyone?

I am not gonna act on conspiracy theories but my own life experience set off the alarm giving your start of the story and then your actions.

To be fair he already mentioned the reason why he sold it to the victim.
He planned on selling it on the marketplace and the victim himself said he'd buy it back.
