An idea for CPQ lovers to stop their character from leveling up since it's too easy and too fast to level in cpq. Not sure what method is viable with the code, but things like holding an "Everstone" etc, talking to a npc, or just a /commend to turn exp gain on or off will be nice.
So why are people complain at the ship ride when it only takes 10~15 minutes? or removing the FM button when it only takes 1~5 minutes walking to FM?
I think this would be cool as long as it's capped. What I mean is you can't do it after level 100 or something (although as high as 119 would also work). Wouldn't want those mages to have even easier access to low level leeching (IMO) It's a shame the game isn't structured that you could do everything at level 1 or something (Like in Kingdom Hearts, or 3 heart Zelda runs)
Considering its not that difficult to kill yourself when you have a door, i don’t see the point in capping the everstone. As there are other use cases as well. for example, I think it would be cool to use on lvl 199 to make sure you dont get more exp before your 200 party, and avoid accidental 200.
I also would very much appreciate a convenience item for easy death, exp reset, or exp 'block'. Could be added even as a meso sink type item or even as an NX item. #PermaCPQLife
This idea intrigued a few staff, and we don't think it's a bad idea after a short discussion on the pros and cons. Perhaps we'll look into it when we have the time.
This would also be nice for lvl 30 GPQ mules. Those slimes give a lot of XP, and killing myself >10 times every few PQ's is frankly, quite annoying.
I think that would be a very welcome addition to the game. I don't mind killing myself multiple times(Not morbid I know) but that just reinforces the fact that as @yuval6161 mentioned, the stone doesn't need to be capped. It would just be a nice QoL change and could possibly be another meso sink for the server like fast travel passes.
