    I've got the chills when I first managed to contact with virtual air traffic controllers (yes, there are people who are ATC enthusiast). Was on a malaysian airport...

    Me: Testing Testing one-two-three.. Kuala Lumpur Tower do you hear me? SilkAir zero-zero-one
    ATC: SilkAir zero-zero-one, transmission 5/5 loud and clear

    I jizzed. Will plan my flight tomorrow and be on my first flight with ATC. Also, feels good to be hearing malaysian english accent for once. Too many ATC on youtube are american/european english

    SilkAir001.png Pretty good first flight with air traffic controllers.
    Messed up some phraseology, and misunderstood some instructions.
    Flew from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore as SilkAir.
    Landed harder than usual but that's okay, still within the allowable landing rate.
    Dream is coming true. Slowly but surely

    Real talk, why is it acceptable to deal with abuse from players, but the second a GM claps back, everyone loses their mind?

    I get it, “professionalism” and all. But this isn’t a retail or fast food chain. They don’t get paid. If you don’t show respect, you shouldn’t get it in return lol

    What would Mister Rodger’s think, if he saw you acting like this...

    After almost 10 years of avoiding, I finally spoke to him. Was it hard? Yes. How hard was it? Hard, I couldn't place a number for it. But I'm tired of running. I needed closure. I needed the apology. And I finally got it. It felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders and it's great to learn that I shouldn't feel responsible for whatever he did. Whatever he did, he had his reasons. I just wished he had spared a thought for his family and the kind of impact it could have on me, especially when I was still just a child.

    To the very few I told, thank you for listening, for giving me the courage, and for being there when I needed you.
